The store is great for odds and ends knickknack items. The issue I have is with their discounts they have on the app and the online ordering process. I've been a few times this last two weeks and looked at the clearance items on the app. Nothing rings up in store at the discounted prices. We saw 3 different managers and one said that they price match with anything on sale on the app or website then the others said that it was an app only pricing so I would need to place an order and have it shipped for a fee or I need to place an order for pickup. I placed an order for pickup today and it says to wait up to 6 hours for pickup. I went to pick it up and they can't find any of the order because none of the items are on the floor and they seem to be somewhere in the stockroom that nobody can find. I don't understand how you can order on the app and wait 7+ hours, not get any notification and then they "don't/can't find the items in the back." You can't sell anything if its not on the floor. I have 11 years of retail experience and that would never fly at my old job. Please get your priorities straight Five Below. You are losing sales.

I walked past the store often. Upon entering, I was reminded of "five & dime“ stores of my youth. I discovered art supplies. I check every week as the inventory is constantly changing. Fun store!

Don’t shop here unless you wanted to be treated like a thief, every check out is self checkout, yet I get told to wait when every lane is open without a customer so I can be checked out, the lady dropped my soda without a sorry or offering to change it out, also the survey as a customer we should be able to chose the option based on our experience, the rep won’t give us a chance, they choose the best option so they don’t get docked, that is unprofessional in itself surveys are for the customer’s to complete not your workers to make sure they get good grades, idk if I’ll be back to this location I’ll go where self check out, is self checkout and you’re not treated like a thief

I enjoy visiting Five Below. I can honestly say I like the customer service of the people on the team! The Store is always clean when I visit. Its a great location ! However I & many other locals aren’t cool with the self check out. It’s honestly okay to have those however some of us want the people interaction. Corp get your crap together. The Team on Tuesday were a amazing! I hate self check & Five below you should have at least one cashier.
Freakin do better.

The Bartow Five Below is one of the best locations in Polk county. It’s easy to locate, plenty of parking and conveniently located to other necessities. The store is well stocked, organized and clean. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Quality of products are comparable to that of other five below’s.
