Its a scam!!!
I had to explain to the tax preparer what a Childcare credit was otherwise I would have missed out on almost $900.
I needed an advance and only got approved for $750 even though I'm getting back almost 10k?? When filing fees are almost 700!!! THATS STRAIGHT UP THEFT.
Hope JH burns to the ground. How do you take advantage of struggling people like that and feel GOOD about it?!
Now I'm trying to track my refund and the app is asking for a document number, which isn't in any of my documents. And the IRS site isn't matching any of my info!
Im NEVER FILING THROUGH JH AGAIN! Doing it myself again from now on. THEYRE THIEVES, SCAM ARTISTS, AND HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEYRE DOING.

They didn't explain any of the process or finance charges or anything to Me at all. My preparer was very slow and didn't tell me any of the pertinent information for the loan. I was highly dissatisfied and will not be recommending them to anyone. And then they only approved me for a tiny amount which didn't make it worth anyways especially with the amount I am supposed to be getting back.
