The doctors, assistants/techs, and sales staff at this location are friendly, professional, and accommodating. The gentleman who helps with fitting when your frames come in has a great sense of humor and makes you feel very comfortable with your new frames. The sales associates I’ve had actually changed my mind about taking my Rx elsewhere because of how well they have met my needs, found me the best price working with my insurance, and made excellent recommendations based on my favorite looks. I ultimately give this location 3/5 stars, however, because the receptionist is rude which is unfortunate because it is the first interaction one has after walking in the door for an appointment. I have family members who have walked out because of her. Not a good match with the overall experience.

They rescheduled me 3 times for the optometrist. Each time they sent me a text stating that the appointment was for 4:00. When I get there they tell me it was scheduled for 12:00. Then I asked for a refill for my floaters. They never did it. I am a senior and I feel that they treated me horribly and that I was at fault. I will never set foot in there again.

She was wonderful doing the exam for my brother in law who is disabled. Very patient and kind. He loves his new glasses and no more squinting for him

I stopped by one afternoon to look for glasses as I had a script from another clinic. In summary, the staff was not communicative and I waited about an hour for someone to help ring me up and fit me for glasses. I asked for sunglasses and they were $400 and that’s with a 40% discount. I have a very basic lens.I went to pick up the glasses that I wish I never bought and the staff is not professional. They couldn’t care less that you’re buying from their clinic.I will never stop at this clinic ever again.

I took my elderly mom in today for an appointment. As we approached the entrance, an elderly couple emerged and the gentleman stated rather loudly that he wouldn't bring his dog here. After I got mom checked in I pulled up Google reviews and was shocked at the amount of negative reviews and actually considered leaving however, elected to let it play out. Once they took my mom back I just walked around and observed. I was impressed with the amount of Ray Ban sunglasses they have and never heard a bad encounter with any of the patients they were seeing. In fact, I saw many employees go well out of their way to assist customers and answer a lot of questions. When my mom finally came out from the exam room, she was totally pleased with the female Doctor who examined her eyes. She conveyed that the Dr. was quite helpful and fully explained everything to her in layman's terms that she could understand. Finally we met with Sunny to discuss glasses. First off, she was an absolutely pleasure to deal with. She went over everything with us, explaining options and what moms insurance would cover and gave us an "out of pocket" cost that mom was satisfied with. Sunny said at one point that she loves what she does and I have to admit, it clearly shows. I simply cannot put into words how satisfied I was with this visit and will now go there for my own eye care needs. Simply put, I'm glad I decided to stick around. To any others considering using MyEyeDr I urge you to read past all the negative reviews. And if you can, Ask for Sunny as she is a true ray of sunshine.

This was my first appointment ever at Myeyedr. I checked in with no issues and had my exam with no issues. When I went to select glasses I was approached by one of the ladies in the waiting area who stated what my insurance covered. She stated that because I had a petite face that she recommended a specific brand. As she is talking to me, we are interrupted by a male worker who procedes to mention across the room how short I was next to his coworker. I did not say anything and ignored his comment. I selected a pair of glasses and went to sit down, when the female who is helping me makes the comment that if I wanted I can also take a look at the kids glasses. I asked what the price was for everything and she mentions the amount, which in my opinion was over priced. She then asked if I wanted I could take a script. I told her I would and as she walks over to get the script I hear her and the male coworker discussing on my decision to take the script instead. I took the script and paid my copay and left. As a customer I believe that I should be treated with respect, kindness and walk out of a business feeling valued. These 2 employees did just the opposite. Myeyedr in Bartow should do a better job at training their employees on being more respectful towards customers. Clearly these 2 employees are lacking in that area.

The doctors are fantastic, but the individuals who schedule appointments are terrible: I had to ask for an appointment almost two weeks in advance (as I'm only available one day a week for an appointment). The day of I never receive a notification, a call, etc. so I had to call to know if I was still booked. Come to find out they scheduled me a week and a half earlier on a day I specifically told them I was not available and now would have to wait ANOTHER week for an appointment. The fact I need a new prescription pair of contacts due to the ones given not being suitable is important and this is unacceptable.

Very unprofessional!Canceled my girls eye appointment without notifying me. The receptionist excuse was that their appointments were not confirmed so they canceled them. I didn’t receive a call or text message and I drove all the way from Kissimmee just to be told this. Mind you these appointments already took me forever to get because they never have anything available for months and my kids really needed their glasses for school. If I could give them a -5 star review I would.

I called in early July to schedule an appointment for both of my kids to have their eye exams on the same day. They couldn’t see them both until the end of July. Fast forward two days before their appointment I get a text message request for each child to confirm their appointment which I did AND received a confirmation text for each child. The day before their appointment I got a call and voicemail they needed verbal confirmation my daughter was coming which I found odd seeing as how I already confirmed her appointment but I called back, numerous times, only ever reaching a voicemail. I left a message that same day confirming she would be there. The next day their dad shows up to the appointment with them both and the receptionist starts off by saying my daughter’s appointment was cleared out of the system! She then goes on to say “we’ve been trying to contact you several times…” and their dad knew that was not true and also knew her appointment had been confirmed and knew I had called and left a message the day before. They were not at all helpful and considering we had already waited almost a month for the appointment we will NOT be going back. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time.

So the Dr prescribed me the wrong script. I told the front staff this " we will get it fixed". They didn't, and ordered the wrong contacts. When I called to get it fixed the ignorant girls at the front argued with me about it. In short the Drs and staff are incompetent, argumentative, and arrogant. I cannot give less than one star other wise I would
