The pharmacy is not the well-oiled machine that the grocery store is. I constantly had issues and eventually switched to another pharmacy.

Deli / subs dept is a disorganized mess. Publix used to be reliable but has drastically declined in recent years. Our online pickup orders have never been on time and they never have anything available that is advertised. This situation is not unique to this location and the overall quality of Publix is disappointing.

In mostly case my experience has been great. I work in Customer service so I can understand procedures. However, TONE plays a big role in how you deliver a message. Sick people don't deserve to be treated bad. Honestly know one should. Both of my experiences on todays call was rude. It's these new people. Keep the sweet lady at the counter. She represent " Publix where shopping is a pleasure".While picking up my prescription Christine decided to insert herself in a conversation I was having with frontline staff about not wearing ID badge. She wanted me to BE clear she spoke to her. Well I did in fact to speak with her and the staff member with no ID. IT important for staff to wear ID. Even if they have to borrow one from management for the day. She was rude again. These new staff member are rude first thing in the morning. Bringing problems to work. Or just rude. Do not represent Publix.

I don't know what is up with some of the pharmacists at this location. They don't listen before answering and then they get an attitude because you're trying to explain what the actual question was but they still aren't listening. Incredibly frustrating

I was supposed to pick up my ADHD medication but was treated like a substance abuser. I understand that there is a nation wide shortage on Adderall, but that does not give the Pharmacist the right to embarrass someone over an error out of their control. My Doctor had to send my prescription to a different pharmacy in case they had it in stock. The pharmacist continued to repeat in a loud voice among other customers violating my privacy “It says here your insurance already filled your prescription 5 days ago, you have to call your insurance” which I am completely aware of after the first time. The status was stated that it was filled at Walmart 5 days ago, but because of the shortage I was notified it would be ordered. I called my doctor and she even recommended to check to see if a different pharmacy has it in stock; so she sent it to Publix. I checked Walmart today and they still don’t have it, so I checked the status at Publix and was treated like a substance abuser trying to get their little fingers on as much adderall as they can. It is neither mine or the pharmacists fault that there is a shortage and my doctor is trying her best to find me medicine; however, his need to embarrass me in front of customers left me incredibly upset, but I left silently and near tears from the stares everyone gave me. I’ve never had a problem with Publix and this is my first time using their pharmacy and I am surprised that I was treated this way. I’ve had better service at the Walmart pharmacy in Bartow. If the pharmacist or his head manager is reading this DO BETTER.

No help from Andrew the Pharmacist told him my experience an all he could say is “I don’t understand “ which he stated several times after I told him several times I didn’t have a RX card or number. If he doesn’t understand simply answers or questions I would be afraid for him to fill my RX Thanks Andrew for nothing. And thanks the good people at Walmart in Winter Haven for the shot.

My prescriptions were automatically sent to my old Publix in Lakeland, so my wife tried to get them transferred to Bartow. Unfortunately, one of the prescriptions wasn't covered by my insurance, and the Bartow pharmacy said WE had to call the Dr to see what they wanted to change it to. My old Publix pharmacy said no, THEY are supposed to call, but Bartow insisted. We called the Dr, who said they can't talk to us, they have to talk to the Pharmacist. We called our old Publix again and they said they would call Bartow and explain it. They called me back a bit later and said the Bartow pharmacy was rude and seemed like they didn't want to help, so I said have the prescriptions transferred back there. I'll drive an extra 30 minutes to get them in Lakeland this time, and next time I'll try to find a better pharmacy in Bartow.

This was are favorite Publix until may 28. The cashier Aaron was so rude to my wife. Enough to make her cry. He was even nice enough to throw the receipt at her. Must be some type of new training at Publix to treat customers like s**** I don't approve. George Jenkins must be rolling over in his grave
