The lack of integrity, ethics and customer service is beyond incomprehensible. Deceptive labeling, misleading advertising and intentional (although exceptionally creative!!) hiding of disclosures to bait potential customers into the dealership to purchase vehicles that in the end are $10,000 - $15,000 over the advertised “FINAL” price is nothing short of deceitful and dishonest. Thunder should, at the very least, be held accountable to honor the price agreed upon between their salesman and the customer, which should reflect what the dealership has advertised!! When my particular incident was brought to the attention of management today, Tony didn’t even care enough to reach out with a simple phone call to offer an explanation, apology or a resolution. I would definitely proceed with an abundance of caution if you choose to use this dealership in any capacity!

As stated in previous reviews by others DO NOT come to this dealership! AWFUL customer service. Highly do not recommend. Decided to give them a chance regardless of the reviews and I wish me and my boyfriend would have listened and not came here! The salesman Brian Fishburn is horrible! Lie after lie. Me and my boyfriend have been trying to get in contact with a manager there and have not heard back from anyone! They do NOT return phone calls. Please don’t waste a penny at this dealership they could care less. My boyfriend was interested and wanting to buy a truck from them for the past week but was told it was “in the shop” getting repairs. My boyfriend was religiously reaching out to Brian wanting to know when the truck would be done and when he could come buy it and was getting the go around from Brian. Then a week later the truck was sold after Brian told my boyfriend he was the first one he would Sell it to and would Be in contact with when the truck was ready Since we already did the Paperwork and looked at the truck in person before it was sent to the “shop”. Horrible customer service and waste of time.

Came in for an oil change, only because I have a card for free oil changes. There were 3 people at the service counter, 1 had a customer, the other 2 only called a 4th guy instead of checking me in. Friendly enough though. The service didn’t take much time. However when I got it my truck, the lumbar setting was maxed out, there was oil all over my steering wheel, and they didn’t replace my service sticker.I don’t expect much from a “free oil change” but I bought the vehicle here, and I’ve spent thousands of dollars in other repairs. I’ve worked in the service industry and would never give a customers vehicle back covered in oil… not impressed.

Been living in Florida since April 2021. I own a Ram 1500 pickup. Since I’m from PA I’m used to state inspections to know that my vehicle is safe and sound. Dalton in express had one of his techs perform a multi point inspection. He thoroughly reviewed the inspection report with me and basically told me my vehicle was looking good. I was ready to pay and was shocked that it was a complimentary multipoint inspection. One thing is for sure I will be using Thunder for service. They could easily have told me there was problems with my vehicle to make money off of me. While I was there waiting any staff that walked by greeted me as well. I’m impressed and thankful I finally was able to get in there with my busy schedule.

Amazing Experience!! I got a really good deal for my trade and ended up closing the deal for a Wrangler. Sales Rep Brian was very patient and understanding. I did not feel pushed but rather being taken care of. Overall Experience was great!

I had a great experience from start to finish trading in a 2 door wrangler for a 4 door wrangler. Shopping was easy with my salesman, Mark Stroud, making sure I found exactly what I wanted. It never felt adversarial like some experiences I’ve had when buying new vehicles. There was zero pressure from anyone during the whole process. Mark also helped facilitate a very important part of the trade-in for me by personally ensuring our flat tow hardware was carefully removed for future installation in the new Jeep. The management, financing, and in the end, a person specifically assigned to introduce me to and setup the technology included in the new Jeep. I would highly recommend this place and go back if I needed to shop again for a vehicle in the future.

It is worth starting by letting you know that I have purchased cars from several dealerships throughout Central Florida over the past 20 years. This is, without a doubt, the best experience I have ever had!!!After spending two days haggling with my local dealer (5 minutes from home) just to be told that they could not even honor the sticker price on the vehicle, I was frustrated and utterly exhausted. I found your dealership on cars.com and was happy to see that you had a great selection even in these trying times. In fact you had exactly the vehicle configuration my wife and I were looking for. I was more excited to see the "internet price" which was extremely competitive, but I understand these prices are often gimmicks to rope people in. There was one other big problem, I live 62 miles (1 hour and 20 minutes) from the dealership.Despite the distance, and honestly with low expectations, I thought it was worth a call anyway. I was connected with Robert Browning who took my information and listened to my concerns. He agreed that it would not be worth my time to drive out there unless you all could give me a great deal, and he assured me that he would do everything he could to make that happen. My request was pretty simple, pay off my trade, sell me what I was interested in at sticker price, and a reasonable dealer fee but no silly add-ons like "dealer accessories" or "prep fees".Robert helped me estimate the value my trade over the phone with a few calls and photos. He then called me back with news that was so amazing I almost didn't believe him. Not only did my request seem reasonable, your team was able to give me an additional $1,750 in rebates. I would have been floored by this news but I was too busy scrambling to find my checkbook and keys so I could get there ASAP.As stated above, I drove 62 miles to get to your dealership and it was worth every mile. When I arrived, Robert already had the Jeep pulled around and ready for me to look at. The absolute best part of this experience is that Robert and the team did exactly what he said they would. In an industry where integrity is often questioned, you all stand head and shoulders above the coopetition not only holding up your end of the offer, but going above and beyond for the customer.

Today I came into Thunder looking for a nice new car and left with a stunning spectacular car. Jim Swearingen was a great help in providing me with all the information needed. Jim customer service was great he made me feel really comfortable. Tom in finance showed me what I needed to know. I will be coming back here later to purchase another car for the family.

Been buying vehicles from this place since 1991. Back then it was Tom Edwards. Tom Edwards set the bar high and the new owners have maintained that level. I get a good deal at purchase and have always been happy with their service.

I went to Thunder Dodge (Bartow, Fl) in June of this year. I brought my 2016 Ram Eco-Diesel in earlier this year due to a malfunctioning DEF pump and tank. I was told my software would be updated after the repair. I researched the update and saw numerous complaints about losing power and fuel mileage after the update. I was assured, by the service manager, Jason, that this problem had been corrected. I agreed to the update. I don’t drive much so I hadnt had a chance to compare. Last week I drove to Texas and back. My truck has lost power, and instead of the 30-31 HWY MPG I was accustomed to, I was lucky to get 20 MPG. I feel I have been intentionally misled in order to have an update put on my truck. And with the price of diesel at an all time high, this is a significant misrepresentation of the facts. I am out a substantial amount of money and driving an underpowered truck. I would like to hear some plausible input to rectify the situation. I feel my truck has been devalued by this misrepresented update.

I definitely love my 2014 F-350 Lariat truck I purchased at Thunder Dodge. My sales person Robert Maxwell . Was a 5 STAR person. My wife and I had the most pleasant interaction with him. Bob in finance explained all options, but WAS NOT pushy or high pressure to take all options offered. He was also a 5 STAR person. The dealership is clean with free coffee and snacks 5 STARS there. I would love to have given Thunder Dodge a 5 star rating but the service department was less than satisfactory. the truck needed shocks which I paid for. It took an extra day because one mechanic refused to put them on because he wasn't making enough. One day delay. The truck pulled to the right. it was determined it needed new calipers on the front. One day delay from parts delivery. Thunder took care of that expense which I appreciated and thanked them. When taking the truck home a week later I asked Maintance for a copy of the 125 point inspection. I was told it was just a check sheet and form did not exist. So here is my three star review reason. The calipers and shocks should have caught in the 125 inspection. Overlooking that. Once I got home the keyfob would not lock the truck. My thought, low battery but no, the truck buttons would not work either. Tracing the problem to a blown fuse. I guess the 125 point inspection was pencil whipped. I did purchase an extended warranty. i am apprehensive to take my track their for service. because of the above reasons. Dealership, sales staff, Finance 5 stars. Service ???UPDATE:I have had my truck for just over a month and it runs perfectly. I was able to speak to the General Manager of Thunder Dodge and explained about the problem with the door locks and Keyfob. He understood what I was concerned about and offered me a complementary oil change when ever my first oil change was due. That was a very nice gesture on his part. I felt obligated to add this update after our conversation

Wow!!! This place was amazing all the way down the line.Tony Smith runs a awesome dealership. Saul our dealer was fantastic, friendly and very informative. Tom the financial guy was fast, friendly and made us feel very comfortable. If you are ever in the need of a new vehicle I highly recommend this place. I usually dread car shopping but this place set the bar.
