Not sure why I look up Walkers produce and Frank shows up, but Walkers sold me a $9 watermelon that had been frozen, so it all went into the garbage. And I bought a flat of strawberries and the whole bottom was moldy strawberries.
These buys were on the same day, beware.

Walker’s is the place I come to get all my produce when I need to restock on groceries. They’re open 7 days a week which is super clutch compared to other produce stands.
They have a great selection for being a smaller produce stand. I can find just about everything I’d want here- from potatoes to peppers to farm fresh eggs to mangoes to plums to tomatoes. There’s a big shelf full of jams, jellies, salsas and the like as well. They also have homemade breads like banana bread and pineapple bread that I often end up splurging on, but it always worth it.
The workers here are typically pretty friendly as well. But all in all you really can’t beat the prices. I can get a bulk of produce that will last me at least 2 weeks for around $20 consistently. Compared to the average grocery store, plus better quality of really fresh produce, it’s a win win.

Went into publix, and their watermelons were the size of my hand to put these into perspective. These watermelons took 2 hands to pick up and carry. 😅👋
There was an option for seedless, but that is not what we were looking for. Also, the pineapple at publix did not look as fresh. 🍍😔
Not bashing publix by any means, as they are where I shop weekly just comparing. #Publix #Watermelon #Freshness #Pineapple

Walkers Produce is phenomenal! It’s easy to locate, lots of parking, is wheelchair accessible and well stocked. Everything they have is “in season”. They have a good variety of fruit fruit and vegetables as well as a few local honey and pickle vendors that sell products here. Prices are inexpensive and freshness is better guaranteed here than your local grocer. Definitely recommend walkers any day of the week!

I like getting fresh vegetables and fruits. 99.9% of the time there are fruits and vegetables grown locally. Walkers produce family seem to take pride in their products. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone.
6/20/24 The place is stocked with seasonal fruits and vegetables. They have jams and jellies. They have nice big watermelons for same price as Publix! Prices are inexpensive, take it from me, I'm very thrifty. There's dragon & passionfruit. Some things I've never heard of.🤷🏾♀️ So have at it. Oh yeah, Senior citizens day is Wednesday-55 & over.

I always find fresh produce and eggs at Walker's. At the holidays I was looking for large apples to use for baked apples & this is the only place I could find them. The cantaloupe is always sweet. The staff is friendly. Prices are good.
