I would not do business with this company! Larry, owner of State Wide Blinds, is a fraud and skipped out on his lease then had people he knows leave a fake review of my business! He doesn't honor contracts! My attorney will soon be in contact with him for slander and owed rent!

Had a chain tensioner break on one of the blinds. Not a big deal, it happens. The blinds weren't cheap and we are only nine months in, but I have a lifetime warranty from Hunter Douglas who manufactured the blinds, right?Apple Dictionary definition: "warranty | ˈwôrən(t)ē |noun (plural warranties)a written guarantee, issued to the purchaser of an article by its manufacturer, promising to repair or replace it if necessary within a specified period of time: the car comes with a three-year warranty | as your machine is under warranty, I suggest getting it checked."Verbiage from Hunter Douglas warranty: "Hunter Douglas (or its licensed fabricator/distributor) will repair or replace the window fashion product or components found to be defective."Larry from Statewide through his office: "Oh ok, no problem. Larry said we can come out and take a look it will be 150.00 do you have sometime this week?"Me: No thanks.Result of my Hunter Douglas call: Sending repair parts in mail no charge. Too bad about distributor's fee to "take a look" (or repair maybe?). No explanation from Hunter Douglas about the "repair" part of the warranty. It says "repair", but the distributor can charge a "service fee".Larry's direct response to me since this started about a week ago: None.My response to Larry: No charge for this review.My next window covering contractor? Not these guys. Hunter Douglas was helpful, but couldn't explain no coverage of the repair under the warranty. So, a little 'buyer beware' heads up for the reader.

Great local company! Larry and Terry were both great to work with and very helpful. There were a couple small issues from the manufacturer of the blinds we ordered, and they are doing everything to make it right. Everyone we spoke to on the phone for setting up appointments, etc were very polite and helpful as well. We highly recommend them!

Was told outdoor blinds has lifetime warranty then when one of the cables broke wS told the part didn't have a warranty. Were going g to charge me $75 to come and fix it. So disappointed in this company

We waited months for our 1 set of shutters. They kept extending the installation date and blaming it on the manufacturer.When we finally got the shutters installed, they came with the wrong size. It doesn't cover the entire window. The quality of the shutters is terrible. There were gashes, dents, scraps all over the shutters.We called to explain the quality with Connie. She gave no apology. Just took our payment and moved on.We have to shutter our entire house, I'm so happy we only bought 1 from these people. We will not use them again. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I had a great experience with my custom made blinds for my living room.The staff was Outstanding, Connie was extremely pleasant and a joy to do business with. Larry was prompt efficient and highly knowledgeable in his field. I would highly recommend Statewide Blinds .
