“I asked the Owner, Mike about this Marla H. complaint on Yelp and was told that this situation is totally out of context with her.This company is the most honest, prompt, trustworthy, hardworking, dependable and courteous of any company I have worked with in my many years.Marla H. would not wait for this company to get she and her husbandpositioned on the schedule. Within one half hour of Mike speaking withher, Marla found another company and totally circumvented Mike'sscheduled time for this cross country move. Mike was driving and could not work on his schedule right away.Mike did not give her the deposit back, because he was in the process of scheduling the move for her and she simply refused to wait.In Mike's mind, they had a verbal contract.From my perspective, this team moved us more than once..even in and out of storage units that were a long way from their truck. We were Thrilled that this Hometown Movers team are handymen...I am talking ALL of them!We just moved into our second home in The Villages and within threehours, they put together a console with a fireplace, a table with fourchairs, cabinets and towel bars in our bathroom, a drop down foldingtable for my laundry, a two part curved shower rod and a medicinecabinet for over our our deep sink in the garage.Also, they moved heavy items around for us.Mike is a man with a wife and lots of kids. He cannot afford to bedishonest or a slacker. Even when I prepared lunch for all of the guys, they ate while they worked.”

I appreciated the confirmation the day prior as well as a text and call when they were on their way. They are quick, but careful with your belongings and professional. Impressive driving skills as they had to maneuver a large truck in a tiny storage facility. Reasonable prices too. I paid half of the estimate because they bill actual time and were able to get done sooner. They even helped put something together for me and brought in a heavy piece from my garage that wasn't even part of the move. Everything about my experience was a good one! I was quoted about $600 for the move when I made the reservation. The movers did it in half the time quoted so I paid about half what I was quoted. How often does THAT happen?
