Had a major issues with the windless anchor releasing in the middle of the ocean doing 45 MPH. The anchor gouged the brand new Nortech and we We’re concerned about the hole. They hauled the boat for me, arranged for an amazing fiberglass repair guy to come fix it and had It ready the next day! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The big Pine sea center is no longer in business. As of June 11, 2022 a new owner took possession of the business. A lot of changes will be made, extended hours seven days a week. A new convenience store that will have beer, wine, food along with some fishing tackle and several other items. New owners want to be a part of the community, they want to be the go to source for your rec 90 fuel and for community events. Please stay tuned for the new phone number. Please feel free to stop in and say hello, the new owners are hands-on and working right there they live in the community so they will be serving the community. The new name is "Triton Sea Center".

I wish there was a zero star option. These people are incompetent crooks! They ripped me off on a boat repair and lied multiple times about the situation. I paid them in full to install a lower unit on one motor and water pumps on both motors. When I attempted to use the boat it was immediately obvious they did the install wrong. The owner told me directly that he would "make it right" and that he knew what must have been done wrong and that it was a "simple fix". I took his word for it (foolishly). They held my boat hostage for two months and then admitted they didn't have any mechanics on staff so they couldn't correct their screw up. They told me to arrange for someone to pick up the boat on a trailer and get it off their property or they would start charging storage....FOR THEIR SCREW UP!! When I pushed back on this they said they would credit me for the cost of the repair and that it shouldn't be a big deal since it was an easy fix. I found an outside mechanic to pick the boat up and make the repair and it cost me $650. As soon as I tried to get the credit from them for my actual out of pocket expense of $650 (never mind all the hassle, hours of messing with it and loss of use) they told me they would not give me anything. These people are scum. Avoid them at all costs.

AVOID AVOID AVOID.It’s been a nightmare trying to have themfix their overpriced and botched trolling motor installation. I’m $6k in for a trolling motor that still doesn’t work after 3+ months of being jerked around - they put a huge gash on my bow, drilled two unnecessary holes on my deck and just left screws in without telling me (note this is a fly fishing boat that needs to be flush), installed a dead battery, added a parasitic drain to my boat, and have been blowing me off for months.Kayla/Katelynn (unsure of actual name) handled all communication and left me hanging many times. They were going to take a look last week, but decided to close the shop. Kayla said they’d call Monday or Tuesday this week, but I heard nothing and when I called - no answer and voicemail box is full. I then stopped up there (end of my street) and there’s a full parking lot, dog sitting by window, etc. I can’t believe I need to hire a lawyer for something that should’ve been fairly easy for them to resolve, but luckily I’ve got the time and resources to hold them accountable so now that’s my only option.Stay away from this shop unless you plan to junk your boat and waste lots of money.

Single gas pump on the water, and flaky business hours. They are not currently open weekends.

Great service by friendly staff. Service was done in a timely manner and was completed on time as promised. My Mercury Verado's are humming. The boat is running great now. Thanks Erin for the great service.

Absolutely the worst marina of the era! Services are extremely limited or practically non-existent. Docking conditions are terrible, staff is horrible, rude, unknowledgeable and when asked to speak to the owner, "William Ray" he would not get on the phone to speak with a customer to address any concerns. If there was a negative star, Id give it a -10

I visited Big Sea Center after having shopped at a West Marine on the way to Big Pine Key. After spending some time with the owners William and Erin, I learned that West Marine had oversold me on a few items and others I didn’t need at all. Moreover, West Marine’s prices are incredibly high compared to Big Sea Center. Most importantly, I experienced some of the best customer service I’ve ever received, regardless of the business. Check them out.

Incredibly rude customer service from The young girl who I was on the phone with. I was very nice and professional and she felt it was okay to not answer simple questions because she had a line of people in front of her. Had problems with them before in the past along these lines.
