I want to take a moment to express my deepest appreciation for the outstanding team at the Walgreens pharmacy in Big Pine Key, Florida. As a heart and kidney transplant recipient, managing my medications especially my immunosuppressants is not just important, it’s life-sustaining. After experiencing significant challenges with both my hospital’s pharmacy (located over three hours away) and their mail-order service, I turned to my local Walgreens and it was the best decision I could’ve made.
Collette, the pharmacist, along with pharmacy technicians Lesheil and Dwayne, have gone above and beyond for me time and time again. They are not only professional and knowledgeable, but also incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. Their dedication to making sure I receive my medications promptly and accurately brings me peace of mind and truly makes a difference in my life.

Their customer service is garbage; don’t even bother wasting your time calling them.

After a flight cancellation, a two day delay in returning home from vacation and despite the fact that at home I use a different national chain pharmacy, Kevin and the staff were extremely helpful in filling my doctor's request for a few days supply of my daily medications. The order was completed within a few hours, Kevin and the staff both answered my questions quickly and kindly. The service I received at this pharmacy was exemplary! Highest marks for this Walgreens on Big Pine Key!!

Lots of negative reviews, but we had no problems. Of course, many of them were directed at the pharmacy. We just bought items from the aisles. I did notice they seemed to be short staffed, but we got checked out fast and easy.

The person who checked out for me tonight was very rude, no hello, no thank you, poor customer service. I think her name was Tara, I asked for a double bags the bottle of wine and she said no one had ever asked that before, then dropped the wine into a second bag on the table with a very bad attitude, this is not the first time she has treated me like this, she should be trained better for her job

Customer service could be greatly improved upon. I went into the store to specifically pick up a photo order and waited for an employee to assist me. She came over, turned off the call button, and walked away saying that she would be with me shortly. She then left the store to go next door, and again left me waiting for several more minutes. I was told to press the call button for service again. When the employee finally came back, she had a rude attitude and was very condescending about assisting me in finding my order. She never once thanked me and was not friendly at all. Poor customer service skills.

Let me just say to the lady/manager or whoever you are, that turned us away for our passport pictures. Thank you! My money was welcomed with open arms next door at the CVS.

I walked in 3 minutes before they closed to quickly buy some cough drops. I had cash in my hand ready to go and Donna, I think her name is, kinda short with long black hair, told me to leave because it was past 11 and that they accidentally left the door open. No. I checked my phone as I was walking in for one thing. MEDICINE. and they told me to leave. Your employees suck.

Donna has to be one of the rudest employees I’ve dealt with. She was short and rude with multiple customers in line before us and to us when we asked her a question. Glad I don’t have to shop here regularly.

The manager Michelle explains the 30 day rule regarding controlled substances in a polite way. Very professional! The staff are very kind and keep a smile on their faces even during the tourist season. ?

I have dealt with nearly a dozen Walgreens over the years and this one is the worst by far. After speaking with my insurance company about the price of a medication they informed me i should have been charged $106.00 not the $529.74 Walgreens charged me. When I inquired about it to the so called "store operations manager" he told me to call the insurance company and get it back. Duh, they are not the ones that stole my $421.74. That guy needs serious lessons on customer relations. He did not even bother to look into it on the computer. Also there was another script ready when they stole my money for $750.00 or so i don't remember the exact price. I declined it then and just picked it up for $126.00.A couple of weeks ago i went to pick up a script that i had just received a text that it was ready. They told me I had nothing on order. At least she looked into it and found that it was internally returned after 4 days. So she told me to come back later and get it. 24 miles round trip and then it was only half the order filled.I am moving on, I guess Walgreens won't miss the several thousand dollars a year my insurance company pays them.So long crooks!!!

Scott the manager was more than helpful . He refunded me the money I was over charged for. Without a question.i appreciate that. Cause when you're homeless every dollar counts. It was 2.74$; over charged. He fixed the situation. But I stood My ground. he had no questions and understood. Good guy.
