I am handicapped, so is my husband, and we have a service dog. We entered the store, and the security guard stopped us, telling us no dogs allowed. Then he saw the service vest and allowed us to proceed. HOWEVER, he then followed us throughout the store, stopping in whichever aisle we were in to stare at us as if we were criminals. This happened through the whole store until and including the checkout. As I went to the checkout, I told him he was rude for following us like criminals through the store just because we are handicapped and have a service dog. He just stood at the checkout line, staring at us with his arms crossed, trying to intimate us, I guess. I got very angry and started to cry. The cashier was apologetic. I am a highly educated woman who loves the law, and I've never even had a traffic ticket. For him to treat us this way was horrible. It was prejudicial, and I felt I needed to stand up for other handicap persons with service dogs. I called the manager and lodged a complaint. I told her word of mouth can be hard on a business if it's negative, and she was also apologetic. I'm sure nothing will be done, thus the reason I put this review. Don't shop at Ramsay's if you're handicap. The security guard is prejudiced against you.
