Scott's Ferry General Store & Campground is a great little place for Chipola River adventures, offering a convenient general store, cabins, and RV spots. It is a perfect place to book events in the gorgeous lodge, which holds events monthly. The staff and owner are super friendly, very nice, awesome, and some of the most humble people, always greeting visitors with a smile. The location provides a boat ramp and dock for putting in boats or SUPs for a small fee, fishing, or letting dogs enjoy the water. There is a big covered picnic area to beat the heat. While the place needs a little work and the store can lack some products, the business is trying its best and needs support for improvements. The food is always good, featuring fresh coffee and excellent, affordable biscuits and gravy for breakfast. The cabins are a good, affordable resting place for those wanting a feel of nature while being close to area beaches. It is an all-around great place to be, highly recommended for a weekend trip or a passing visit.
Very nice little campground on the river. Older dated facilities but clean and functional. The people were super gracious and very helpful. I'd come back and would recommend to a friend. I camped so don't know about the cabins. Look good from outside.

This is a beautiful and quiet place to chill on the Chipola River. The General Store has everything you need if you forget to pack it. This is our new go to place. You will not be disappointed!!

The owner is a very respectful young Christian man and has a beautiful family. Let's just say it's like stepping into a whole nother world and his products speak volumes. Come on down and try it!
