Booksmart is a family-owned business that has been serving Florida Atlantic University and Palm Beach State College for over 26 years. It is a great independent bookstore, one of the largest and best stocked for both textbooks and used books. It functions as an excellent place for used book lovers, with aisles and aisles of wonderful books across many categories, from novels and history to gardening. The store consistently offers discounted textbooks, both new and used, for FAU and Palm Beach State, and is cheaper than the campus stores. Students can buy or rent books in-store or online. It also carries hard-to-find non-book materials like access codes, lab coats, and clickers, as well as FAU merchandise. Customer service is unmatched, with nice, helpful staff who go out of their way to help. The store has a wonderfully brilliant cross of nostalgia and modern needs, offering a quaint alternative to giant corporate bookshops. It is a spot students and book aficionados will love.

David is amazing. I ordered a code for a college book on line Amazon dropped the ball on delivery and David went out of his way to give me a code and I drove 30 miles to return the code Amazon finally delivered 5 days late. Even after getting angry texts from me he was still willing to help me! He was awesome!!!!

Customer service is unmatched. I had an issue with an online textbook, and David was extremely helpful and efficient in solving my problem. All the staff are nice and have consistently gone out of their way to help customers. Their prices are good too in comparison with other book stores. Absolutely amazing
