So I went to @Citibank today located at 4055 N Federal Hwy, Boca Raton to make a withdrawal and as soon as I walked in a bank employee asked me if I have an account there, which is odd. I was then asked a bunch of questions to verify my identity, questions which are in no way relevant to me making a withdrawal. I’d like to add that I’ve made MANY withdrawals at my usual branch and never have I EVER been made to feel so unwelcome and uncomfortable. I also recorded the encounter and shared it with colleges who all agree that that bank employee behaved in a way that was completely out of line! Racism is clearly very rampant here and it’s disturbing to know that I was treated in such a way. I never made the withdraw and left before things got out of hand. Oh, and the bank teller kept my debit card ;) take this information and do what you will but I will be bringing awareness to this matter via my social media platforms as something needs to be done to address the issue.

Severe incompetence at this branch. I was given false information by three separate employees including the branch manager. They wasted hours of my time and when asked to explain herself, the branch manger sits there with a smug look on her face and couldn’t care less. You’ll find a more competent manager at a rest stop McDonalds. Totally clueless

Physically visited this branch for a wire transfer service on Friday noon, expecting it would be just a few hours. On Saturday 10 am an email from Citi asking me to call 1-800 number for verification. I did call back immediate, but the fund was still on hold the next Tuesday! It is not a million dollars, just an earnest amount of fund. The wire service is even slower than a check, disrupting people's financial plans. Anyone who wants to bid or close a property, be aware that Citi may screw up your deal!

3 tellers and only 1 is working. The other 2 are bickering back and forth about who knows what. They have a drive through but only for ATM which forced me to go In the bank. Sometimes some ppl can’t come into the branch with their kids so a drive through is really important. The tellers are still bickering so unprofessional. I now see why they have such bad reviews

Terrible branch stay away!!!! Prob worst experience ever had with financial institution and still to this day manager Joseph Hage has still not called after asking 4 separate times to speak to him and subsequently moving all my assets out of branch. It's a disgrace to Citibank. Corporate should be ashamed of how the branch is managed !

Absolutely one of the best banking experiences I've ever had! I've had several Citibank credit cards for over 20 years. I'm well over a decade ago I banked with them in another state. I walked in well after 4:00 looking to open a new account so I can manage my credit card payments more easily. And the teller who helped me was learning also to be a banker and was so wonderful and helpful even as the computers started to act up and went well past for 5:00 hour. I offered to come back the next day and they said no it was no problem they expertly finished up setting up my account and made my initial deposit. Even though everybody was exhausted it all helped out with a smile on their faces. I would highly recommend this branch to anyone wanting to open a Citibank account for looking to invest which City Bank they have an absolutely amazing management staff, tellers, bankers and they have on staff a series 7 license investment broker! Hands down absolutely the best bank in Boca right now. November 2022.

Impossible to get help at this branch. There are only 2 tellers and they are always "busy". If you'd like to talk with a banker, be prepared to wait for ever.So many Empty offices but all of them empty. No one is working anymore....sad

I posted a review earlier this week.The teller who is so wonderful is Alejandra Ospina. She is so sweet and helpful ( and bright). I was considering takingMy business to another bank until I began working with this branch this winter. They are a shining example of customer service; something that is sorely missing today!

It's impossible to talk to anyone at this branch. The branch number does not allow messages to be left and forwards the call to the automated service where you cannot talk to anyone. The associate's direct number I do have doesn't call back. I would normally go and wait forever in person as usual but I had an accident and am temporarily homebound.
