Over the years I have purchased over $15,000.00 of furniture. My latest purchase experience was the worst. My sales person was in a rush to complete the sale because another customer of his came in unexpectantly and wanted to be taken care of right away. (You know the type). My order was delivered to my business. All of the furniture was in good condition. I was busy with my business and later that day I noticed that the coffee table was too large. It wasn't going to work in the space. The next day I called my salesperson to explain that the coffee table was too large and would like to exchange it for 2 end tables. He told me he couldn't help me and to call customer service. I then called customer service. They said that there are no returns once the delivery has been made. Then I spoke with a supervisor who he said no returns once the delivery has been made. City Furniture does not care about their customers. You have to pay in full before delivery is made. They do not care about customer satisfaction. They are the big name in furniture in south Florida. They do not care about their customers. All they want is your money. I will never purchase anything from City Furniture again. I will inform every home owner I meet of my experience and recommend not to ever purchase from City Furniture.

Make sure you read all the fine print. Their policies are very peculiar. Everything I ordered was back ordered and coming in on different dates over period of three months one of which was a set of pillowcases that they make a special delivery. You have to be home to receive and sign for. If you are not home to sign, they will charge you a restocking fee, their whole policies ridiculous. I personally will not be shopping there ever again.

Terrible customer service! You will get the run around with them! I ordered something, it says delivered, was never delivered and they refuse to give me a refund! I spent days on the phone with them, being transferred multiple times with no one able to help! I do not recommend. Very unprofessional

This place is ridiculous. You schedule a delivery, and they send a 3 hour window of delivery time the night before. I've had to reschedule with them 6 times in the past three weeks, because I don't know when the delivery will get to me till late the night before, amd I can't just take a day off work to sit and wait for a signature. I asked them multiple times to request that it be delivered either morning or evening, so I can set my schedule around that. They refused. I asked them equal amount of time it they can take my verbal signature over the phone, so they could drop it off without me being there, and the call is recorded on their end so they have my verbal permission to leave it without a signature. They refused. Then, after canceling for the 6th time to reschedule, they send an email saying that it has been delivered, which it has not been. So I call to reschedule, but they need me to wait 72 hours to reopen the invoice. So basically, this place is bs. DO NOT buy from them. they deserve negative stars. Oh, and I have still not received my order. edit: I replied to the response via email as requested, and of course, no response. I should say just as expected. Stop with the bs replies just to make yourself look good

Our sales associate, Jeff Bannout, was very helpful and extremely nice. We knew what we were looking for since we had spent time researching in the Ashley website which is quite easy to use. Jeff also showed us some accent pieces for our family room and the coffee corner I’m trying to create. In all it was a very pleasant experience. We felt welcomed and never rushed. I would definitely recommend this store to friends and will be back for other items when I’m ready.

Never again. We bought a power recliner sofa and a love seat. At the delivery, the delivery guys noticed that the sofa was defect and they took it back and ordered another one, meaning that another long wait for delivery.After they left, we noticed that the love seat has the same defect either. So we got in touch with the customer service, a couple of days later the technician came and said he can't fix it because he doesn't have the necessary parts and then he left. After another couple of days we were contacted by the customer service and asked if we wanted to order new parts, possible wait time 2 to 4 weeks. They did not accepted return and refund as they see the defect is minor and fixable. I should have read their return policies.Surprisingly, the parts arrived in a week. After that point, we were required to call the customer service to book a technician again. Before we do so, the new sofa arrived, and guess what, with the same defect! This time the delivery guy took initiative and fixed the problems both for the sofa and love seat.Long story short, it was like a nightmare that never ends and I do not recommend this company.

City Furniture has a great array of furniture at very competitive prices and their sales team is involved just enough to be helpful but not so much that they interfere with your ability to peruse their showroom. Nestor Castillo was an amazing sales person who really helped us make the right decisions for furnishing a new home. I highly recommend City Furniture!

Never again. My furniture for my 85 year old mother was supposed to be delivered today. She is in assisted living. When the delivery finally got here after waiting hours, the chair was broken, no footboard for the bedroom set so I have a mattress on the floor for my 85 year old mom. Instead of bringing a “loaner “ frame because they knew that the bed is unusable , they told me maybe in 5 days they will bring a loaner. Because the rest of the furniture meaning, the dresser, nightstand, footboard won’t be her for weeks. Ridiculous. And no one cares. You can’t even call then to find out because you have to wait for a call back from your sales person. NEVER AGAIN. This is “White Glove Service”

Service and products were a waste of money. I purchased the Lisbon outdoor table along with the protection package. The table top is defective. It's supposed to be glass but the cleaning cloth drags over the surface and shreds when you try to clean it. I contacted customer service because I purchased the protection plan. They sent a technician who confirmed that the top was jagged and the cloth couldn't move smoothly over the table top. However, he couldn't tell us what next steps would be except that customer service would call us. We told him that a salesperson in the store had mentioned that the table top could be on upside down. He insisted it wasn't.When customer service called, they said they had contacted the manufacturer and the table was up to their standards so nothing would be done.So if you'd like an outdoor table which is impossible to clean and no help from City Furniture despite paying for an expensive service plan, then go ahead and shop here! I'm done with the poor quality of both the product and the service.

Angel was the first person to greet us when we walked into City Furniture. We had already looked online so we knew what piece of furniture we wanted. He promptly took us to the section that had the piece by the style name. Although the store didn't have the item in the Boca location he offered alternate locations for us if we wanted to see the furniture in person but we were confident enough with previous purchases that we made the purchase. Angel was very helpful, friendly and polite. He is a fantastic representation of City Furniture. Thank you Angel!

I recently purchased a couch from City Furniture. The sales agent was great. As we all know — furniture is taking a while to be made and delivered. I was so excited to get my couch that I spent a lot of money for. When it was delivered, there were stains all across the sleeper side of the sectional. I called City and they said they would send someone out to clean the couch. I had to then alter my work schedule to have someone come clean the couch. When the man arrives he had a rag and spray bottle. He said he was removing the stains. The stains were just spread. I called city furnitures customer service line again, and no one has been helpful or courteous about the situation. It’s really unbelievable when you spend thousands with the company. I was very foward and explained that I was the couch cleaned - this is just such poor customer service for expensive item. Very unhappy with the service I received with customer service.

Visited the Boca location. Had the nicest sales person. Her name is Claudia Jordan. She went out of her way to help me. I always find great, current looking things at City Furniture and at a good price. I recently purchased two new area rugs and accessories that are shown in the picture. The second area rug is for my bedroom but it didn’t ship yet.

Early May this year my wife and I decided to remodel our house and replace ALL the furniture in our home consisting of 8 rooms. We went to the Boca location and bought living room furniture consisting of a sectional sofa, coffee table, tv console, and rug (around $7500) We paid extra for premium delivery, but they neglected to put the rug in my den ( see picture they left it in the garage). I had to unpack it , and move all the furniture to put the rug down. During the next several weeks we bought a bedroom set, and a kitchen set. During the delivery of the bedroom set they refused to take the old mattress unless we paid the driver a CASH ($50) tip to remove it. Last Sunday my wife went back to the location to buy office furniture, and an additional bedroom set. We were assigned a salesperson named Nik who was showing us around, and then disappeared, and went home. THE GUY WENT HOME WHILE WE WERE SELCTING FURNITURE !! Now after all the negative treatment we were exposed to all we wanted to purchase was a dresser. We asked to replace the premium delivery we paid for with the rug, and give us premium delivery with the dresser, and the manager said NO ! The next day he had the guts to call me and give me free premium delivery only if I bought a dining room set. I called the customer service number and asked the manager there if they could please unbox the dresser when they deliver it for my wife because I would be out of town when it was going to be delivered, and I was told NO again. I responded," I will probably go somewhere else to finish furnishing my home", and she told me that was probably the best alternative.After extensive purchase I was fired as a customer. So if you want to be abused, and mistreated go to City Furniture !!

I love the City Furniture store in Boca. It’s a beautiful showroom with furniture that will appeal to your preferred style. I bought a Kevin Charles sectional, and it’s the perfect addition to my family room. It is comfortable without sacrificing good design. I also like that Ashley furniture is attached as I can browse both stores. My house is full of Ashley furniture, too. It’s a combination you can’t beat for furniture shopping.
