I would give a 0 if I could. I am a long time customer and credit card holder of Marshalls, HomeGoods, T.J. Maxx, and numerous HomeSense stores. I have never seen one of your stores run so poorly. Today at HomeSense in Boca. there were 10 people in line and you only had one cashier a young girl number three. After waiting 15 minutes we , all of us in line , said to her could you please ask get another cashier. A woman comes and turns her light on number one and then walks away so we are still left with just one cashier. About 10 minutes passed and no one came . One of us in line goes to look for somebody and was told somebody will be there soon. So after -
almost 30 minutes of waiting I asked could you please get a manager. I don't think he was a manager and we told him we had been waiting for 30 minutes with only one cashier if you are the manager why would you not have seen that? There are now 15 people in line waiting with one cashier he said well I'm here now. I said well why didn't you notice this and his response to us? I got in 20 and minutes ago , to which I've replied , well we've been in line over 20 minutes and if you're in charge, wouldn't you think to look to see if you need more cashiers as one of the first things to do when you check in he was very curt with me. I said I'm going to write a review and he said go ahead. The store is so poorly run and again as a longtime credit card customer I know this is not the norm. I would appreciate it if you could make corporate aware of this. Thank you very much.
You also lost a few customers because they would not wait
Another woman in line told him she's never coming back to this store and he said fine...

Employees complaining about the heat in the store complaining how there about to drop because of the lack of workers in the store all this because after waiting 30 min for someone to come pick up the chairs to take to the front . I ask the same person if someone was coming ! she literally jumped at me, made a face, and didn’t say a word no need attitude and expression said it all turned around and walked away!!!! my response is this the way you react working here toward customers never an apology!my daughter carrying the merchandise to the car no one to help her! The name of the employee Christy!

We purchased an area rug today at Home Sense in Boca. I’m writing to commend ‘TJ’, the nice young gentleman that helped us. He was the only employee in the department and was bombarded with multiple customers at the same time, all needing rugs taken from display, rolled, secured and brought to checkout. He was patient, friendly & curteous to everyone. Thank you TJ!

I experienced very poor service today. There was a line of customers waiting, but only one cashier working while four other staff members stood around chatting and laughing. When I spoke up, one of them dismissed my concern by saying they were “doing what the manager wanted.” This is not acceptable customer service and shows a lack of respect for paying customers. I hope management addresses this issue so future customers are treated with the professionalism and attention they deserve.

I briefly visited to explore this store; reminds me somewhat of TJMaxx, excluding clothing section. Homesense has so many items to spruce up your home or workspace at reasonable prices, namely:
* Lighting/mirrors/wall art
* Rugs/decorative pillows/faux flowers
* Bedding/bed & bath items
* Furniture (chairs, desks, stools, sofas, etc)
* Organizers & storage
* Cookware/bakeware/kitchen linens/tableware
* Garden items/clearance items

Nice clean and well organized, this store has many decor items and some furniture. I was impressed with their selection of lamp shades. I was pleased to see this because I've been looking to replace a couple shades that have yellowed with age. The big department stores all had disappointing lamp shade inventory. Homesense, however, had a nice selection with a few of them marked down with a decent discount. My bargain-hunting friends will enjoy finding deals here. The best deals are the ones marked with the red clearance price tags that are easy to spot. One improvement would be to have more cashiers to handle to customers paying for their purchases. On my visit, there was only one cashier with a long line of people waiting. While my first impression of Homesense was excellent, my last one was the long wait in line.

Becca is super rude. Never said hello and was huffing and puffing through my whole return as if it was the biggest hassle in the world even though I had the receipt. She does not want to be there and it’s obvious.
