buyer beware!!!!!!!!!!!! we purchased a very expensive 6 piece leather sectional less than 4 years ago and the very expensive warranty also to protect this item. what a scam! do not purchase the warranty or products. the leather was a bonded leather, not a top grain leather. the bonded material peeled away from the material under it after a short time. the warranty company tried to blame it on oils from our scalp! the warranty company replaced the peice with another peice that was also bonded leather and the same thing happened. the warranty company was incredibly difficult to work with and we are still fighting with them to make ammends. we learned a very important lesson. do not shop at macy's furniture.

The furniture is very nice but the Warranty is a scam. We bought a beautiful leather couch and love seat and got a warranty that includes pet damage. About a year after we got the couch we got a cat. The morning after we got the cat we noticed she scratched the couch in 3 places. (we immediately went out and got scratching posts so she would not do it on the leather furniture again, and that worked). So we put a claim into Macy's for the damage and they denied us, accusing us of lying - telling us this couldn't happen in one night. We appealed the decision and explained again what happened and again they denied us. Don't shop at Macys. Their warranty means nothing.

I purchased an amazing sectional back in 2016 and bought the protection plan for 5 years as Macy's gives you back the money if you dont file a claim. I called the store last year when I thought my warranty expired and the sales rep told me that I had another year. Well, la te da, I called to file for the voucher, which has to be within 90 days of it expiring, and guess what, it expired last year. So the rep lied to me and now I am out the $500 voucher. Check your receipts folks.

They created a huge problem for us when we ordered a dining room set and did not deliver when we expected. We don’t live nearby and we’re setting up our mother’s house after an accident. She now has NO furniture set and the new estimate for delivery is in 3 MONTHS. Absolutely unethical that we weren’t told this could be an issue.

We purchased a couch with 2 electric recliners and a console with electric plug and 2 USB ports. Approximately 10 days after delivery the console stoped working. I called customer service who then transferred me to furniture customer service . They scheduled an appt for repair. They came promptly and quickly diagnosed the problem as a simple switch. They do not carry parts so they said it would have to be ordered and it wouldn’t be long because it was a common part. A couple of days passed and I called to check status. Customer service knew nothing about the part and I was frustrated and after a half hr wait they finally got the part ordered. They said the part will come from vendor within 4-6 wks maybe sooner. I asked if they would update me as to delivery. They said no because the vendor doesn’t notify them. I would have to wait till the part arrives then call them back and they would schedule repair. I find it astonishing that Macy’s is unable to provide appropriate customer service and follow up with its customers. Apparently once they make their sales they are no longer interested in you. I guess they don’t need repeat business. Churn and burn should be their motto.

Rochelle the sales lady was very helpful. She took her time with me until we found the exact couch that I was comfortable sitting on.The price was reasonable as well. Definitely shop there again.

Where do I begin? The best part of the experience was the day we ordered our seven piece kitchen set. From that point on it was a hot mess. We placed our order on February 19 and schedule delivery for March 12. We got a call from the warehouse on March 10 saying that they destroyed the table. So we had to wait another almost 2 weeks for another one to come in. We called the store and they are useless. The rep who answered the phone and we told them they destroyed the table said, “ Yeah that happens all the time”. That’s reassuring! They know absolutely nothing as to what’s going on in the warehouse. So we schedule the delivery for March 22. We get a call on March 20 from the warehouse that they ordered the wrong table and it was going to take another two weeks for the table to come in. I call the store and I speak to the representative, Laura, who helped us in the beginning. Her and her manager know nothing. The warehouse does not update the system and Laura sees that we’re still supposed to receive our table and chairs on the 24th. She then schedules for everything to be delivered on the 25th. The warehouse sends us a confirmation of delivery for the 25th and later that day sends us a change of delivery to April 8. We then canceled the order. If you are as confused reading my post as to our experience dealing with Macy’s furniture overall, that should tell you not to buy from Macy’s furniture. Absolutely terrible! I would love to share pics but the table would either be the wrong one or destroyed by warehouse.

If you’re doing anything other than buying a piece of furniture, be prepared to go through a long treacherous journey with customer service. Customer service is absolutely horrible. If you’re returning furniture that has a manufactures defect, if you’re scheduling delivery, if you’re exchanging a furniture piece for another - anything - you will have to deal with chaos. Nothing is simple or easy, they make it extremely complicated and will make your experience horrible.

Great furniture store for somewhat above average furniture. Great selection of sofas but many are out of stock currently. Very friendly sales staff and plenty of parking near both entrances.

Have a replacement issue on a defective mattress. Already spoke with customer service and waiting for service as promised.Went to Macy's Furniture location. The five stars I am giving is not for Macy's service as yet. Will be glad to do that if they keep their promise that a Supervisor promised over the phone.This 5 star rating is for salesperson 'Jerry' who took his valuable time to help us in selecting a mattress replacement for our mattress that is no longer being produced after 6 years (we purchased a guarantee at the beginning). 5* for Jerry!! We would buy furniture from him when the time comes!
