Went in for a contact lens exam... l explained my distance contact (l have mono vision contacts) was weak so she continued with the exam..Was told l had a cataract but not ready for surgery... I picked up my new contacts and realized she ordered a weaker distance than what l originally had. Went back and was told l have a stigmatism and cateract that's why my new prescription was weaker??? Why wasn't l told this prior to ordering contacts that are no use to me now...I've been going to Dr Elliott at Eyes on the Bay for over 20 years... This office is a scam...

Had my eye exam done. Spent a lot of time getting a quote for rx lenses which wasn't saved. Went back with my frame for another quote and had measurements done but they had a question for the doctor. Nobody ever called me back and none of the measurements or quote were saved (again). In addition for a place selling Tiffany's and other luxury frames, the chairs looked really tired with holes in the seat. I wasn't impressed and will be going back to LensCrafters.

Rebecca is the nicest associate I've ever dealt with I've been using this optometrist and the doctors are great. Rebecca went above and beyond to make me feel like a valued customer and her professional manner and kind words and actions made my day I'm a disabled veteran and she treated me with understanding and compassion. Five stars is not enough Thank you Rebecca

I've been using My Eye Dr for years. 3 weeks ago I went for my yearly exam. My prescription changed so I asked them to change the lenses on two of my frames. One pair was ready in a week. However, they told me that the second pair would take another week because the lab had made a mistake on my lenses.I wasn't upset. I undertand that mistakes happen.This was two weeks ago. I've been checking with them every few days. they tell me that they're going to check with the lab and call me back. They never call me back. Bottom line, it's been 3 weeks and I still don't have my glasses. It shouldn't take that long to get my lenses changed.PS. My wife left her sunglasses there 2 weeks ago to get them polarized. It was supposed to be a very easy process that would take a few days. Same story, after 2 weeks she still doesn't have her glasses. We're both very dissapointed with the communications and the long delays.In the past, we've always had good experiences with MyEyeDr. That's why we gave them 2 stars instead of one.

Dr Patel, Rebecca and Pat are excellent. Waited only a two minutes. All staff was pleasant and accommodating. Dr Patel is 5 star knowledgeable. I knew I was good hands. All moved along smoothly. Pat was very effective at his skills. Had my contacts ordered and will be delivered to my house for the year!! Rebecca was quick and understanding. Thanks you guys. Always a great experience coming to see you each year.

I had a semi-decent experience. Went in for an eye exam and I have VSP insurance which is $0 copay for exams. A fast process and a professional eye doctor. Although, I wasn’t a fan of not being told beforehand additional charges for screening photos when I didn’t ask for them to be done. I believe part of being a decent practice is being upfront about additional costs to clients instead of just telling them last second after you’ve done the exam… Felt like it was tacky and a way for them to make a quick buck.

Very nice staff, the doctor and staff are very professional and personable.The doctor is extremely efficient and knows her job very well even recommended different contacts and eye drops for me and both work very well.

Dr Patel did not give my left eye full power as she said "it was too much of a jump" but on a second visit I explained I wasn't seeing as sharp in my left compared to my right. So now I need three Left eye poly progressive in two of my own frames and one intermediate pair for my half eyes , however, they can't communicate to Dr Patel that I wanted computer power in the bifocal aspect of the progressive reading...I work on computer, piano and paint so that intermediate power works the best for me. Since August 23 after my re-check with Dr Patel I expected the lenses to be ordered, be efficient and get these glasses back to the customer right? I spoke with Lewis on phone and it seemed he hadn't talked to the Dr or any eye-tech or front receptionist about what I needed...so he was asking me what to? Are you kidding me? Is there no communication within the stores? And to make things worse....I originally went to another Myeyedr on Yamato Rd and Joe was kind but I still haven't received one pair at all....they have a gorgeous frame of mine which hopes will come back in tact!I called Mission Bay Myeyedr and spoke to the Manager. He brushed me off to wait until tomorrow to speak to Lewis because it's his day off today. I replied if you're the manager why aren't you overseeing this job? Why is it held back? And for so long? So far I have no answers, no updated glasses that I can't see properly out of 2 pairs (that I have)......and I had to pay in full upfront! $575! Very unhappy....

I was very disappointed to find out yesterday that Joe, the optician that my entire family has used for almost twenty years is no longer at this location. Joe was always professional, reliable, and caring, and he always had the best manner with my children and with my husband and me. It's not easy anymore to find someone as personable and capable as he is. What a loss...

Saw the Dr. for a very thorough eye exam about 11 months ago. Ordered glasses as well for a very fair price. The glasses were great quality. 11 months later they got scratched and the fixed them for no charge. Everyone from the Dr. to the staff was very friendly and did a great job.

I have been a customer of MyEyeDr for years - going back to Dr Elliot days.Throughout the changes in recent years there has been one constant - Joe Cohen. Joe is an absolutely incredible resource. He is so attentive and always helps me find the perfect pair of glasses. Joe also is extremely patient with me and my contact lens challenges.He is always my “go-to-guy”.Kudos for having such a great employee!

First time visit this past weekend, so far so incredible! The staff was friendly, and approachable. Dr. Patel was throughout and knowledgeable. And TK, the office manager was patient and compassionate, answered all my questions, and took time to explain my options without being pushy or curt. I haven't picked up my new stylish frames yet but feeling confident it will go well!
