I typically don’t write reviews unless they are positive; however, today is the exception. Unfortunately, your Deerfield Beach store closed so this was my first experience at the Boca Raton location. I, along with others were waiting to use the self-printing services. Either the machine(s) were not working properly, or user error, or both, but several people were having difficulty on this day. One customer was elderly and obviously needed help understanding the process. Instead of offering a solution to help her or to examine the problem, as well as to help ease the growing line of customers, your worker EARTHALA, decided she couldn’t be bothered when asked. She was aloof from the start, then became rude and condescending to all the customers in line and only when another employee approached, pretended to be concerned. This behavior was not necessary and certainly not a trait of a person in a customer service role.

Review of Office Depot Printing Service
If you’re looking to print something at Office Depot, good luck to you. My experience was beyond frustrating. They have only one working self-service machine, and apparently, they don’t print a large amount of paperwork for customers. Instead, they suggest that people use this single machine, which is clearly not equipped to handle the volume.
I encountered a lady trying to print 150 pages using the paper they sold her, but it kept jamming and breaking the machine. Despite the ongoing issues, the staff didn’t offer any real help or solution. When I asked if I could simply email my documents for them to print a couple of pages, they told me they don’t have an email to accept print jobs. Seriously? In this day and age, that’s just ridiculous.
Office Depot is supposed to be a convenient and quick place to print, but they clearly don’t care about customer experience. The staff is not knowledgeable about their own products, including the type of paper they sell. On top of that, they allowed someone to use the only working printer for over an hour without offering any alternatives to other waiting customers. This is completely unacceptable.
I expected more efficiency and customer service from a place dedicated to office supplies and printing. I won’t be returning for printing services anytime soon.

If I could give this store and another store, actually Office Depot customer service that I’ve had within the last five days if I could give zero stars I would! Absolutely horrible customer service I ordered something online spending $500 something to be printed something very simple with a delivery date promised every time I call to check on the status. I’m told it’s in production like it’s some kind of a Mona Lisa portrait! They can’t give me any other information and said there’s a lot of jobs and people before you sorry, nothing we can do no compassion no resolutions. Nothing at all. I placed another order today for in-store pick up because I’m on a deadline and needed this items. I have a confirmation that says it will be ready today at 4 o’clock. I called to let them know, I’m on the way and they tell me it won’t be ready until Sunday. The manager did not care. This is the store number four he could care less no resolutions nothing at all terrible terrible terrible

This is a long established Office Depot which attracts those who operate businesses as well as those buying office supplies for personal use. You can order online and pickup in store.
The location is usually not busy. But if you need help locating something it is sometimes a challenge to find someone. Not because they aren’t there, but because they are helping someone else. The young staff is helpful, despite being few in numbers.
They have a complete print on site area where you can get flyersbpostersbbanners made on the spot. They used to have conference rooms on the second floor and not sirenifbtheyvstill do.
I usually order everything I need from OD on line and have free delivery. It’s easier for me than going physically,locating what I want in their aisles and then purchasing free parking in their large parking lot. Disabled Parking in front of entrance.

This rating would have been a 5, except of the one assistant manager who was of no assistance. Adriel a staff member came to the rescue.
My friend and I went to Office Depot in Bocca Raton this evening to print copies of our literary for our trip to Columbia. What should have been an easy task turned into a not so great experience. My friend and I were trying to print and we're unable to pull the documents up on the printer. We tried for about 10 minutes. We followed all of the directions for the process of emailing to officedepot. After about 10 minutes, I went to ask for assistance. Adriel was helping someone, so I asked the assistant manager who was not helping anyone. Those man never made eye contact with me. He spouted off directions. I explained that we had tried this and we were not able to get the documents to print. I asked of he would come over and help us. He pointed at Adriel and said he could help us. At this time Adriel had just finished with another customer. I explained the problem and he started ro give the same directions. I explained we needed someone to walk over to the printer to help us. He came over to help. He couldn't figure out why it wasn't working at first. He spent about 15 min trying to get it to pull up do it would print. He was sooooo very helpful. Explained how much we appreciated him, thanked him, and let him know the customer service he provided was top level.
On the way out, asked to speak to the Manager. Rob the Manager came and spoke with us. He was very attentive and listened to our concerns. He provided valuable feedback on the store. We explained how Adriel was so very helpful. Also, how the Assistant Manager was not helpful at all. Rob ensured that we knew that our concerns were being heard and would be addressed. He also provided invaluable customer service.

Unfortunately this office Depot is very close to my home so I'm forced to go there way too often. The store is underemployed both in quantity and quality. They cannot figure out how to put gift cards through the system, and when they do they come out with sales tax which we all know is not taxable particular figure out how to avoid that especially the manager. Not Rob he's fine it's the other guy short with glasses. In any case it's a tiny store probably good for a copy and print but not much else. Also the parking and the access roads are treacherous and limited. The building has people managing the parking lot, so they make sure you're going into office Depot if you use one of their spots and you're very limited for time. They know it's a problem but I'm not sure this is a solution. But if you're running late he'll come in the store and try to find you. Maybe to use the bathroom or just because it's cooler or just because they can.

My three hour chat with online support got ugly on June 10th 2024 when office depot offshore support supervisor Emmanuel called me and was very hostile. We were trying to resolve an issue with a gift card added to the purchase of an external hard drive. After no resolution, I place my order without gift card. While Emmanuel fraudulently ordered a $3400 filing cabinet and $300 warranty to be sent to a 20 year old address that was on my account. That began a whole series of emails, phone calls with their business development manager Tammy Mannarino. All tied up with BBB. WORST COMPANY EVER

The attention and service disposition of the person in charge of the printing center was diligent and collaborative. He went out of his way to ensure that my printing order was completed and delivered with great kindness and diligence. Despite some technical setbacks, he did his best to overcome them successfully. I am very grateful with the service.

Love the associate Paul he is a pleasure. The store needs to be renovated and new flooring at the very least. The floor looks just plain horrible. The oldest store in the company looks like it! ??
