Absolutely horrible customer service at the Pottery Barn in Boca Raton. I went in at 10:15 AM to make a return and was met with complete disorganization and a dismissive attitude from an associate named Micheline. The registers weren’t even up and running to take customers, despite the store being open so I had to wait around while staff scrambled between registers.
To make matters worse, my original purchase was made using a contactless credit card and they insisted I retrieve the physical debit card from my car just to process the return. When I asked Micheline to simply hold the items I had already handed over the items that had already been checked by another associate and Micheline she outright refused and said it’s company policy. I’m sure that’s not the case. No flexibility, no basic courtesy.
I returned at 10:25 AM and the registers still weren’t functional. I had to be shuffled between three different registers just to complete a simple return. When I asked Micheline for her name and a business card, she sarcastically said, “It’s spelled exactly as it sounds,” and refused to give me a card. Unprofessional and rude.
Also, why don’t the employees wear name badges? The associates blend in with customers and you have no idea who actually works there. Totally unacceptable for a store like Pottery Barn that claims to value customer experience.
Save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere. This location is a mess

Called to ask a question and was met with a rude, abrupt, and annoyed woman who made me feel like it was her doing me a favor to even answer the phone. If you want to never have customers, continue to do what this store does.

I came in to the store wanting a decorative tray and accessories for a large ottoman. Had an idea of the look I wanted but asked for assistance when I got there. Michelline Glaves, the General Manager, helped me to design a beautiful masterpiece! She was knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to work with!!!! The look is everything I
imagined.

Terrible experience!
We purchased a full master bedroom set — dresser, nightstands, bench, and bed. One of the worst shopping experiences we’ve had. Items were delivered on different days. First delivery; it was left downstairs, and not brought up to the second floor. After waiting for a long a time, the second delivery arrived, but the dresser came without proper packaging and would likely get damaged when moved, so it had to be rescheduled for delivery.
To be fair, the delivery guys on the second trip were very kind and helpful — but the team handling logistics and delivery coordination is terrible. They schedule deliveries at unreasonable hours and send out furniture with no proper protection. Poor planning, zero accountability. I would not recommend Pottery Barn to anyone.

Store on first level of Boca Mall. Went to see item announced on internet in store. No item or similar ones on floor. Sales delighted to print pages from book descriptions.

I walked in to make a curtain panel purchase based off one that I saw online that stated it was in stock at this location. When I asked the sales associate kiana for the item she said that it was not in stock. when I asked her if there was anything similar, she said no we don’t have anything in stock when I asked her If there were samples available on the floor to see she said no there are not. She was very short with me And seemed very uninterested in helping me and rude. I left and went to Crate & Barrel to see their selection while continuing to look online on the pottery barn website, which I continued to see it showed stock in the store. I decided to call the store and I spoke to another very nice lady, I believe her name was jinjun(I may be spelling it wrong. Sorry!) who was very helpful and took her time and actually found the item I was looking for in the back. I was supposed to return to grab the item, however I got caught up running other errands And since I do not live in the area, I called another pottery barn closer to me in Gulfstream and again they were very helpful. It seemed everybody was willing to help me except the horrible sales associate that I
encountered when I first walked in the store. I felt bad because Jinjun really took her time to help me so I called the store back to let her know that I would not be able to pick up the items and I ended up speaking with Cynthia who was also very helpful and polite and understanding and apologized for my earlier encounter. I really wish that I would’ve spoken with either of these two sales associates because the one I spoke with really set me back since I had to find another location that would have what I needed when I could’ve just purchased it In 10 minutes the first time I was there. It’s awful when you are nice to someone and they act like this. There’s no excuse really. Even on a bad day I would never.

Went in because I wanted to see a table I wanted to order online in person. Sales rep Michelline asked me to order it in store to help support the store so I did. I confirmed the color I wanted and sale associate did not do her part in verifying what she was doing and ordered the incorrect color. Upon her giving me the paper work I noticed the messed up with the color. Order needed to be cancelled. Now I am out 1200$ until the refund has finalized which could take 3-5business days; she tried to tell me it’ll only take 24hours for the refund but upon calling customer service afterwards they advised me it would be 3-5business days and I have to wait longer to reorder for an item that can take up to month for delivery. Sales associate did not help in trying make her error better or anything. With the customer service during this issue I’m even debating on if I want to deal with the store moving forward. If you order anything in store here triple verify that the order is correct.

I had a horrible experience at the Pottery Barn in Town Center Mall. I spoke with the manager, George, and he was extremely rude and not helpful. He came over and refused to understand my concern with the confusion of the date in the receipt. He walked away while I was speaking and wouldn’t help me. I am very unhappy with my experience and feel George should not be in a manager role if he doesn’t know how to speak to customers.

Buyer beware. White glove delivery is not white glove delivery. Would not buy any type of rug from pottery barn. It is pottery barn policy that their delivery drivers cannot touch any furniture in your home. Our delivery driver complained to my 10 week post partum wife that she had not moved the sofa the rug had to go under prior to his arrival.

AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS. Literally the worst Pottery Barn location. Overcharged me hundreds of dollars for items I didn't buy and the managers are severely lacking in any form of customer service. Keep an eye on your receipt!

I placed a large order via the store’s designer Cristina. What a disaster! Communication, coordination, and attention to detail are all nonexistent. It would have been more cost-effective and productive to handle everything myself. I hope this review helps you not make the painful mistake I made.
