If you're in Florida, and you want a good sub or maybe something from the bakery. Then Publix is definitely your best choice. Plus if you buy any of the food made for Publix, then you won't be disappointed either. Publix might be a little bit more expensive than Walmart or Target, but it's worth the few extra cents that it will cost you. Especially the deli and the bakery.

This place has gone downhill. I was helping my mother buy groceries because she has spine issues and has a hard time pushing the cart. I had 7 items and she had 5 and because our two separate checks totaled more than 10 items they tried to make us leave the checkout. Remember when kids used to help pensioners especially those who are struggling. Now the kids hired at Publix want to make older folks lives more difficult. Meanwhile the cashier was stressing because they were getting texts from friends while they had to help customers and started throwing our groceries down the checkout. It was a really disheartening experience.

ATTENTION MEAT DEPT MANAGER!
Your butchers cannot cut steaks at the same thickness. It's either incompetent staff/training or the equipment they are using is not good. Attached are pictures of NY Strips that more are than a half inch difference in thickness. These are the steaks I got after going back to the store tonight to return a thick ribeye that was cut in two. The ribeye looked like a kindergarten kid with two broken arms cut the ribeye. One side was thicker than the other on the same cut. It is impossible to evenly cook a cut of meat like that.
This has happen about a dozen times in the last 12 month. Tonight the cuts were so horrible, it was impossible to cook the ribeye that I had to return to the store for an exchange.
I wish Google would allow me to give zero stars. You don't even deserve one star.
