Waited for over 40 min for a Sub when there was only 6 people in front of me. Nothing was restocked. They had 3 people working on one sandwich. When I got the sub there was a hair in it. Wanted to speak with a manager and they were all no where to be found. This Publix is one big free for all.

I moved to Highland Beach two years ago from Miami. I'm a loyal Publix Shopper (no, it is NOT more expensive than other supermarkets, that is perception. You think it's more because the stores are clean and they carry out your groceries), the stores near my home fell a bit short of my expectations. The stores in Miami are 99% remodeled or rebuilt and much larger. Then I found the store at the Polo Club Shops! I felt at home, it's so clean, well stocked, large, fantastic employees and the greatest Pharmacy EVER! This is now MY Publix. It may seem trite to some however where you shop and spend your money is something I think is important. At closing you are not even aware its that time. No one is making annoying announcements every two minutes, for employees to bring their purchases to the front. Do other Publix Markets think their customers are stupid? We know what that awful announcement really means, stp it! We have choices of where we want to shop and its not at a store that values locking the door exactly at closing so you can go home. Mr. Jenkins would be so disappointed to hear some of the screeching things I've heard at different Publix’s. These stores should simply close earlier, because they are not open for business one hour prior to closing, they are closed! At the Polo Club Shops, you will NEVER hear these terrible announcements, no, you will hear great music. You'll see Robert in Produce smiling as he fills those &@$^ bananas, and Josh at the Deli greeting each and every customer with his kind and sincere ways, all of the other associates smiling asking if you need help rather than avoiding eye contact at all cost! The associates here make eye contact (none have passed away because they did), they are “old school” employees. A Joy to shop with.I am posting this now, but will edit it in a few

The WORST parking lot design. Park as far away from the store as you can get, or you are bound to get hit.The store and staff itself is 5 stars.I seriously only pick this Publix as a last resort solely because of the horrific parking lot.

I come here all the time, the place is always clean and for the most part people are friendly. The deli department on the other hand is awful!!!!! People are so rude and look miserable they have to make a sandwich for you!!! The deli needs lots of help
