They damaged my artwork during the framing process and blamed the artist for not using a protective varnish (which wouldn’t have been appropriate for the type of canvas). Multiple areas have paint scraped off and there are yellow greasy looking marks on it. If they aren’t capable of handling art that doesn’t have a special varnish, they needed to have disclosed that in advance. They refused to give me a full refund unless I let them unframe it and give them the frame back, despite saying that damage is inevitable. I don’t want to further damage the piece. When I went in to discuss it, the VP stayed in her office and had the salesperson running back and forth to relay messages to me, instead of just coming out and talking to me herself. The art piece is one of 30 prints, hand signed by a known musician, and cannot be replaced.Edit: Addressing the owner’s comment below, there were no “very specific instructions” for framing. The info from the artist said that the art does not require varnish, to have it framed by a professional experienced with stretching canvas, and to handle with care. It says that some people have had problems with framers who are inexperienced. I have added a photo.They are not “continuing to work with me” on a solution. In fact, they are actively fighting the dispute I filed with my credit card. Clearly $395 is more important to them than doing the right thing. I have given them many opportunities to refund me before taking to the internet and escalating this issue. This is the first I’m hearing from them since December 4, 2023.It’s now March 2024 and they still have not reached out to me at all to propose “an acceptable solution”.

I took an Hermes scarf to Rosenbaum Framing and I am so happy with the outcome! I worked with two girls who worked there and they helped me so much with choosing the right frame and matte. I would go back again for any other framing needs. Thank you!!

High school academic awards framed that included various materials has been completed very nicely and timely. Extremely personal service and things ended up just like we wanted them to be. I highly recommend.

Just moved here from Tampa. Wow! what a great experience large selection of incredible frames, great staff and they even create custom mirrors. We ordered two custom mirrors for over our vanities and they look great!

I gave a certificate to be framed on October 26. I was told it would take two weeks. Well, it's November 28th and no frame. I called about a week ago and got no call back. I called again 2 days later and was told there was an issue with the shipment received. I asked to talk to the general manager Sarah and I was promised a call back. Nothing. They was Monday so 2 days ago Called again today and asked for her to call me back. Nothing. Over the years I spent thousands of dollars on framing at this business. I guess not anymore.

Never fails -- I always get such great work done at Rosenbaum Framing. I have used them for years - and have always found the staff pleasant and knowledgeable. More so, they come up with some extremely unique options for framing my artwork and collectibles.
