This bank is a horror show! Left there a while back cause it was a horror show. So I see an ad saying $300 new account bonus if you haven’t had an account since July 22, and that’s just about when I think I closed my account. So I call and they say they can’t tell me over the phone and I have to come in, so I drive all the way there and they say my account is purged from their system. So I say well how long before they purge, and of course they say no specific times. So they say I need my old account number for them to look it up, which why would I keep an old account number when I would expect the bank to have it and simply connect it to me? So she says, well I guess you learned a lesson, to which I replied no you should learn a lesson of losing potential new clients by not at least keeping their account closing dates, when you require those dates for new account bonuses! Such stupidity it’s beyond belief. Lol

I would recommend staying away from truist and this branch. I opened an account here and everything I was told on the phone by customer service was the exact opposite of what they told me in the branch. Something is wrong with communication. I ended up closing the account and opening with Fargo up the street even though the truist banker insisted Fargo wouldn’t be able to help me further… very odd as Fargo was a great experience and took care of my needs within 20 minutes. I would reccomend considering Fargo or another bank nearby.

Since Suntrust has merged with BB&T and become Truist I've had nothing but issues. From their systems not speaking to each other to their check deposit processes it has all gone downhill. It is a shame because I've been banking with Suntrust since 2003 and now I'm going to move all 8 of my accounts.
