Ben from Wavecrest was an absolute lifesaver! I called him for a second opinion on a fridge repair that was insanely expensive. He made himself available within a few hours, diagnosed the issue and found it was not even remotely complex and was a simple wiring problem. He literally saved me thousands of $$$! Super nice guy, honest and fair. He’s my go-to appliance repair guy from now on.

Warning: Ben gets offended if you ask about the possibility of a free estimate. He refused to give any ballpark price, and openly stated he was suspicious of me and my phone number and area code because it’s from Belle Glade. Unprofessional and irate on the phone. Hung up on me when I asked what the worst case scenario was, cost-wise, to have someone inspect/clean my washer and dryer.

Ben came out to check our dryer that was not drying and it needed a new heater element. He didn't have one on hand so he promised to return the next day (or day after I don't recall). He came back promptly, put the new element in and checked the entire dryer for us. He is super professional, friendly and is a man of integrity. I will not use anyone else but Wavecrest as long as Ben is there (I think he might be the owner!) You cannot go wrong with these folks. And yes, the price for the repair was very reasonable.

Our 2018 GE Microwave stopped heating and was making buzzing/sparking sound. I called Ben first thing in he morning, and sent him a picture of the model# label. He knew what is was right away and gave me a cost to repair which was reasonable. He was very honest, he said price a new one and if you decide to fix just let him know. We didn't want the hassle of buying a new one, and having to schedule a new install. I called Ben back, told him to fix it. He said he would come over, confirm the problem, which he did right away. The part came in in 2 days, and as he said it would take about 45 minutes to install. He was right on time, very neat in doing the job. The unit is working fine now. I would highly recommend him!

I have a Whirlpool refrigerator. It is about 16 months old. The ice maker broke. It has a year warranty. I called and spoke to Ben assuming it was out of warranty. He advised me that sometimes Whirlpool will work with you if its that close to being in warranty, and I should call them directly. I did that, and they agreed to do the repair under warranty. I appreciated Ben's honesty and help, and I will surely call him first for any repairs I need in the future.

We have a double wall oven that is only a couple of years old, but it was giving us a code and would not heat. I called Wavecrest and Ben was responsive, assesed the situation, asked me to send the model number and ordered the parts. He scheduled a time to make the repair as soon as he received the parts and had our oven up and running quickly. We are very pleased with the service received and will call Wavecrest again for appliance repairs!

Ben is the best. Quick response and totally reliable. My washing machine had a major problem and Ben came and checked the tub. The plate that holds the tub to the motor had totally corroded. His response was to check out how much to replace the tub. "Sometimes I'm surprised but I don't count on it". He recommended two brands and that settled that. It would have been almost $500 to fix. My new one comes Saturday. And Ben will always be my backup.
