Very convenient being on island with decent prices. Some complain about the prices but it absolutely beats going to Cape Coral to save 2 dollars. Customer service can't be beat! Love the expansion they made as well!

I'll preface this by telling ya'll, I started my work life as a clean up boy at the local Ace Hardware in Donelson TN. I quickly worked my way to helpful hardware punk and with the caring guidance of the wonderful community and co-workers, I eventually grew into a helpful hardware young man. While traveling these days, sometimes I see an Ace and just drop in to take a look and reminisce. There's nothing quite like an Ace.
While on Pine Island recently, I had many projects helping my daughter move into her rental cottage. Man it was great having an Ace Hardware on the main corner just down the road. I was in there multiple times a day. I got to know the usual day time and evening cashiers as well as many sales people.
I've never had a bad experience in an Ace Hardware and this crew lived up to "Ace is the place with the helpful hardware folks".
Well stocked and friendly crew. Next time I make the 13 hour trip to visit my daughter, I'll have to drop in, if for no other reason just to say hello!

The ace hardware store on Pine Island charges 2 to 3 times the amount of what the items cost at the Ace in Cape Coral and the Home Depot in Cape Coral. I’m all about a small convenience fee but when you’re charging three times what something else cost that’s just unreasonable and the residence of Pine Island because they don’t want to sit in two hours of traffic to go to Home Depot a bag of tile mortar. The same exact bag is $12 at Home Depot at Ace. It’s $26 10’ 2 inch PVC pipes are $10 at Home Depot. They’re $22 at Ace. How can the company get away with price gouging like that and it’s just OK?

The guys and gals working here are awesome!! Always eager to help, from what I've seen. If the one helping you can't find what you need, they'll find someone else there that can. I've even had them recommend a different store, if they don't have what you need. Some of the most helpful hardware people I've ever met, and I've been to a few hardware stores in my 60+ years.

Walk in with a list. Got help from the staff right away. They knew where everything was and I was on my way within minutes. Very pleased.
