Benecard is garbage, will do anything to avoid covering you, amazing a clerk at benecard will tell you they know better than your doctor what your medical needs are and make that medical decision. Scam.

This mail order pharmacy is a joke. They had a script dated November 16th and didn’t get it in mail until the 20th. Called and paid extra out of pocket for two day air shipping due to Thanksgiving holiday. It still didn’t show up beforehand and out of meds for about a week now. Not the first time and they don’t care.

I would give zero stars if I could. This mail order pharmacy has been giving me the run around for almost 4 weeks. Like the previous review stated they don’t want to pay for certain medications leading to lost days at work. They give me a date that medication will be in and then don’t deliver. When the Dr changes the medicine they trigger an audit review and make you jump through hoops . All the while you have zero medication. I will definitely report their negligence to my employer and beg for them not to renew their contract with this company. Zero compassion for customers and you are just a number. Just don’t is all I can say.

I spoke to customer service employee Melissa about 2 weeks ago not sure if she is in mechanicsburg or bonita though. Very nice, sweet, understanding young lady. She was sympathetic and listened to what I had to say. Melissa had patience with me. She took the time to listen and address my needs. Explained the process in a clear, understandable order. It’s been 2 weeks as I stated previously and I still can’t get over how great she was.My doctors office had to call, and fortunately they had Melissa answer the phone as well. My office told me she probably the most helpful person they spoke to that day and went on to explain that she knew exactly what to do without hesitation. Although they’re not used to these procedures Benecard has, the office had a smooth entry into the process with her explanation.I was hoping there was a survey for the call. Unfortunately not. She deserves the recognition. Thank you Melissa and thank you Benecard for having a great employee.

Although the staff that i have dealt with were nice and tried to be helpful I have had to pay for some of my prescription at full cost for months while my Drs and i have jumped threw every hoop they have asked of us just for them to still not approve them. I have a debilitating, incurable condition and need my medication. Not worth all the money i have to pay for my premiums every month to turn around and have to pay full cost for my costly medication. Just love how they can dictate what medication they will cover.
