Haines was my regular HVAC service provider. My drain line was clogged and Haines cleaned out the line and installed a back flow prevention shut off. This should turn my unit off if drain clogged in the future. Unfortunately it did about 2 years later but the back flow switch was placed in the wrong area of my drain line. It was placed in a position higher than the HVAC unit it itself. The clogged line backfilled the condensation back through the unit and then allows water to flow down my drywall flooding my master closet and bedroom. I was not home for a few weeks and on returning had mold and damaged of $10k. Haines came out and changed the position of the Backflow prevention switch and cleaned the line but charged me $350. I believe since it was installed incorrectly I should not be charged. Won't use them ever again

I have got the maintenance at my AC system one month ago. When they came they have asked me 250$ in addition to the quote they gave me when I scheduled the service, for cleaning the pipe with a special solution. I have refused saying that it never happened with other companies. CONCLUSION: after one month my AC stopped working, I needed to call one other company and I have paid 156$ for the service call just for cleaning the clogged pipe. Of course no special solution was required! Se the picture.

Great family company, communication is most important to any company, and Haines employees communicate with each other! If you have two different technicians for a problem, it's not like they are starting over, they have talked and they have figured out the problem before the second one starts!

Since I can’t seem to get someone on the phone, can 103 is a horrible driver. Cut me off 2 times on 41 while tailgating the whole way and swerving in and out of traffic.. you guys should vet your drivers more, because had he caused an accident that is a big liability…

Our new air conditioner was delivered and installed quickly. The installers explained their process. It took less time than what they predicted, so our home never really became warm. The new Lenox A/C is much quieter and more efficient than our old unit. I recommend Haines with no reservations.
Today (3/26/24) I called Haines and explained that the system was not keeping the humidity down. I said it wasn’t an emergency since I could still control the temperature. A service technician arrived 5 hours later and replaced the thermostat for free (still under warranty ). This is what I call outstanding customer service. So glad we chose Haines for our new A/C system a few years ago.
