The best BBQ in FL. The portions are huge and slaw is perfect as are the beans. We had the rib and chiggen combo and it came in two boxes and and a bowl. Caution, this will ruin all other BBQ for you.

The food was amazing and the servings were wonderfully big enough to have lunch the next day or 2. The service was slow but no one complained because the food was so dang good. We ate outside at a picnic table that was ok but traffic was heavy the day we were there so a lot of noise, but the smoker was going and mullet was on the menu. I'd go back again just for the food. I had brisket and my husband had pulled pork and both were superb!

This roadside restaurant does not look like much from the outside, you will be very happy with the choices and taste of their bbq. We had pulled pork platters that came with 2 sides. The amount of meat on the sandwich was beyond what we were expecting. The sides coleslaw(tastes like home) and Mac and cheese were delicious. You do serve yourself, but they have everything you'll need, including sauce choices sitting out and easy to use.

First time here. They do let dogs eat in the dining room with customers as well as outside on the patio. They no longer soft serve ice cream but do have the other kind. The banana pudding unfortunately had no bananas in the pudding and tasted like vanilla pudding with banana flavoring with lots of vanilla wafers. The Mac & Cheese I expected it to be real cheesy because of what the owner said but it was dry mac & cheese. Large dining area inside with red picnic tables outside. You can smell the BBQ grill from a Long distance. Very friendly staff. They also sell pickled foods, cakes and have canned sodas. Looks outdated so don't expect clean & polished.

Wow, where do I start. I'm all for supporting small businesses, but this place just didn't do it for my husband and I. We were so excited to try a new bbq spot, so I ordered almost one of everything LOL. We tried the cornbread, half a slab of ribs, the pulled pork French fries, hush puppies, and onion rings... the only item that was good to me were the onion rings. My husband didn't too much mind the pulled pork French fries. However the corn bread was inedible. It tasted like the smell of the corn bread after you mix it, and right before you bake it (if you know what I mean). The ribs were perfectly cooked, but they just had no flavor. The barbecue sauces were mediocre... overall it just wasn't for me. I know everyone's palate is different, but my rating is 1 out of 5. Their portion sizes are great though.

Amazing local bbq! The whole smoked chicken was fall off the bone tender and packed full of flavor. The pulled pork sandwich was a huge portion. Baked beans, cole slaw and potato salad was just as good as their smoked meats. The location itself is clean and has plenty of seating nothing fancy but coming here it's all about the food. Service was great food came out fast and hot will definitely come back if within the area! Prices are also super reasonable.

Smoker in the parking lot! I knew I had to stop, so glad I did! The brisket is amazing, juicy and flavorful! This place is worth the drive from Sarasota!

Warning! If you say "back home," complain at least once during a meal (If you think you don't, you probably do), think people should jump because you are there, expect a 5-star dining room, or even a black top or concrete driveway, this place isn't for you. The people working there are awesome, accommodating, and down-to-earth. The ambiance is a roadside restaurant in the middle of Florida, and the food is FANTASTIC!

I'd like to tell you how good the food is but after 15 minutes of standing in the front with nobody around to service I decided to go somewhere else. The inside of the building looks like a bomb went off and it's basically just plain filthy. It's probably best that I didn't get a meal here anyway it's a pretty shabby sketchy place even if the food is pretty good, which I don't know because there was nobody around to take an order and there were people in front of me and behind me.

Great everything. I live in Orlando, and every time I go to Naples, which is what a few times a year I stop in there and get something to eat. The pork, the chicken, the side dishes, and the best cabbage I've ever had in my life.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch it wasn't very packed but we observed right away the restaurant wasn't clean and the bathroom absolutely filthy!! We proceeded to order as this place was highly recommended. We got half chicken with baked beans and green beans and country fried steak and rice. The chicken was cooked on top (breast area) but raw on the leg and thigh area, not seasoned well, extremely bland I couldn't eat. My husband said the steak tasted like meatballs but not in a good way. Not sure why the reviews are so high from some people but definitely pass on this place. It's nothing much in that area but don't waste time or money here.

The lady who took our order was very nice but the food was disappointing. The servings were large but the food was bland. The meat was very tender but did not seem fresh. Likely heated up. The beans were Busch Beans as evidenced by the large cans in the dining area. The corn was likely frozen cob corn. The sweet sauce was good but the spicy wasn't very spicy. We were surprised about the food considering all the rave reviews. Unfortunately the negative reviews were more valid.
