I hesitated to write this review because I understand that mistakes can happen and I don’t like to complain about isolated incidents. However, it took me four separate visits to get a single prescription filled, which was extremely frustrating.
On my first visit, the pharmacy technician told me my prescription was not in the system. When I asked her to double-check, she simply said she only saw one unrelated prescription I had previously filled and did not offer any further assistance.
Before my next doctor’s appointment the following day, I stopped at another CVS in Wellington to confirm whether my prescription had been sent, as my physician said it was sent four weeks earlier when I called that morning. The pharmacist there could not locate it at first, but after asking for my phone number, she found it—it was associated with a different profile. She then discovered that the prescription was at the Hagen Ranch location, which was closer to my home, so I told her to leave it there for easy pickup.
After my appointment, I went to the Hagen Ranch CVS. The technician there located my prescription and confirmed it could be filled. I gave her my coupon, and she said they needed to order the medication, but it would be ready the next day.
When I returned the following day, I was told the prescription wasn’t available and was not being filled at their location. After checking online, I noticed it was being filled at the Wellington location instead. The technician said she had tried to move it to Hagen Ranch but that the transfer didn’t go through, and she couldn’t do anything else until the pharmacist was available. The pharmacist, who was extremely busy, eventually found the prescription, transferred it, and told me to come back the next day to pick it up. He was very polite and made a genuine effort to help, which I appreciated.
I wasn’t able to return the next day, so I came back today. This time, the prescription was ready. The technician asked if I was aware of the cost, which I confirmed I was. I also asked if it was the three-month supply as prescribed, since the cost reflected that amount. She checked the bag and said yes. I paid and went home.
However, when I got home and placed the medication in my secondary fridge, I realized it was only a one-month supply. I immediately went back to the pharmacy before closing and spoke with the pharmacist, Dr. David, and the same technician. I explained that I had paid for a three-month supply but received only one month. Dr. David initially asked me to return the next day so they could review the cameras, even though my receipt clearly showed I had paid for three months. Only after I insisted did he check the pharmacy—and he found the remaining supply labeled with my name.
This entire experience was time-consuming, frustrating, and completely avoidable. The staff did not value my time and needed constant prompting to perform basic tasks. It was disappointing that the pharmacist initially preferred to delay resolving a clear error rather than correcting it immediately.
Overall, this experience has left me with a strong dislike for this pharmacy’s lack of organization, communication, and accountability. I will be transferring my prescriptions to another location. I hope this feedback encourages improvements in accuracy, professionalism, and customer service. This is my favorite target to go to, it is a shame that the pharmacy is not reliable.

Probably the worst run pharmacy in florida. They sit at look at you looking at them wondering why I've been waiting 30 minutes for a pick up.....like hello, you have 8 people in line....please help.

Pharmacist was rude. I asked for original sealed bottles but she would not ablige. Previously I've had medication missing from pharmacy filled bottles.

The only CVS store I would use is the store in Target on Hagen Ranch Boynton Beach Fl. The rest are rude and ridiculous. One store told me, I had to bring my bedridden dying wife to sign the prescription, even though I had her license

I am often tasked with picking up prescriptions for family members. You can see my usual CVS reviews that indicate how dreadful they are. This one, buried inside a Super Target Store is the exception. Matthew was a prince and eagerly worked to sort out a problem with an out of state prescription. The whole staff appeared helpful and friendly. If you need a drive through go elsewhere, other than that this is my new go to location.
