“I was hesitant to be sure...traveling with my wife and booking a Boutique Beach house which I thought was on the Water. SunDek passed with flying colors!! Definitely the anti-resort feel with all the comforts you could possibly want. Quiet, immaculately clean, within 2 miles or anything you could possibly want, roomy and way more affordable than the resorts that are 50 yards away!!! Our daughter is 2.5 miles away from this location and we will never stay anywhere else on our visits to see her. Truly a diamond in the rough, so glad we found it.”

“The hotel leaves a strong impression before you have even settled in. The reception team are warm, quietly capable, and genuinely present, which makes arriving feel easy and reassuring from the first exchange. The room is clean and remarkably still, breakfast is honest and straightforward but prepared with clear attention, and the peacefulness of the surroundings makes deep, restorative sleep feel like something the place simply provides. The detail that lingers most, however, is the value. The standard of comfort and care here reaches considerably further than the price alone would suggest, and it is that difference, more than anything else, that makes this a place you find yourself recommending freely and thinking about returning to long after you have left.”

“It is a serious shame to see all of the negativity regarding this establishment. Due to circumstances outside of my control, my spouse and I were displaced, basically homeless with no light at the end of the tunnel. All of our income was going to keep a hotel room over our head. One day, as we were driving down federal highway, unsure of where we'd be sleeping at this point, I noticed this place tucked back behind the dispensary advertising weekly and seasonal rates, and suddenly, a faint light began to show at the end of that tunnel I mentioned earlier. We called them, confirmed that weekly rates were available (extremely fair - $520 for smoking room) and were told rooms on a first come first serve basis only. Understandable as this was at the beginning of spring break. This is important to know - long term rooms aren't always available, but once you get into one you can continue to renew your reservation for as long as necessary at the discretion of the management/owners, who live on the property themselves. As far as how the room itself was, it was fairly bare bones, but this is a value option, not the Hilton. If you were to compare the two, the Hilton is just more up to date. I didn't see a single roach or bug during my entire stay (3 months) and I've definitely seen them in a Hilton on more than one occasion. The room had powerful AC, two beds, a very nice walk in shower as well as a kitchen area with sink, cabinets, microwave and fridge. TV with premium xfinity cable, too. Let me tell you fellas, ladies don't care what room you take them to so long as it has HGTV and Bravo! So you can check that off the list here. When my wife and I came initially we had our cat, because we thought it was pet friendly. This turned out to be a problem and we did have to pay an additional deposit over it, but in the end we did receive the 2nd deposit back without any hassle. That is the only true negative I had in my 3 months there and it was my fault. I should've just told them about my cat. So that being said/TL;DR this is a cheap bare bones extended stay to help you get on your feet. The family that runs it is nice and the tenants keep to themselves. They clean your room weekly and otherwise it is quiet and calm. Not any of the negativity I read did I experience. My wife and I are grateful for the golden sands, Rohan, his wife and family for allowing us to stay for months while we got our life back together. It was a gift from above to find this place. Just remember - this is a motel on federal highway. Not the Hilton.”
