I had Regina do my taxes. My taxes came out fine but the over all experience was terrible and an extreme inconvenience. I use to work at hr block so I’m aware of how long the appt should be for what I’m filing, which should be about an hour. I was there for 2 hours! Majority of my appt was her telling me personal stories. She would go on for 10-15 mins at a time about stuff that had nothing to do with my taxes. There is no reason I should know about her financial dynamic with her deceased aunt, surgeries she’s had, her trying to find a purse, a kid ruining her purse, her helping some lady contact a German company, how she struggles to cut her toenails because of how hard they are, and just so much more random stuff. Literally half of my appt was her talking about herself. I was caught off guard by how much I owed HR Block and she gave me $25 off which was nice but it still didn’t make up for how long she held me hostage for.

Everyone is very friendly. My tax preparer, Elliot, was very informative. Truly, truly worked WITH me. Excellent fees.

I would recommend H&R Block for easy preparation to get your taxes done. We have been filling our taxes with H&R Block for many years and have no regrets.

Today we met Gigi Grein for the first time at H&R Block to work on our 2024 taxes. It was by far the best experience that we have had in many a year! She was knowledgeable, well organized and very pleasant. Believe me, she has her act together. We’ve already made an appointment next year with her to do our 2025 taxes.

I wish I can give a 0 review for how H&R Block did my sister Alexia Harvard its first started with Sue messing up all her information the Peggy acting like she’s fixing NOW she still all mess up banking accounts information wrong it’s been really messy for my sister Alexia she spoke with District manager Jason Park she left him messages never responded and Courtney Johnson talk to her she act as she was going to call Alexia back all she want to know where is her refund it’s crazy I will not be going there to do my refund I don’t need the headache If you don’t like your job then do work this has been the worst year H&R Block need to hire people with better experience and not being so racial when you doing Black people taxes thanks

Devyani was so helpful and friendly. She continued to ask questions to ensure all of our expenses were accounted for. She made sure my 4 yr old was ok by offering coloring and even snacks. She made us feel comfortable and at ease. What a great experience..we will be back.

Agent, Carol, is excellent. But - Confusing when uploading - prefer to not have to categorize what type of file I'm uploading. Just let me upload and let the software or the agent classify the types. Also, have to read very carefully about what you agree to. Too many upsells and, even worse, an option that if you don't read carefully, has H&R Block sending my info outside the US to HR India. Stop with the add-ons, upsells. Makes me not trust HR Block. Have to be very careful about reading everything pitched to you. Also, there was no way via the website to remove the "Peace of Mind" fee. Had to get in touch with the HR agent to get this removed.
