PetSmart is a large retailer offering a wide variety of pet supplies and services for many types of animals. Customers can shop online and pick up orders locally. Select locations provide services like grooming, training, and adoption. Reviews for specific stores present a mixed picture. Many customers report exceptionally positive experiences, describing certain locations as the best they have ever been in. They highlight highly personable and phenomenal service, where staff members are knowledgeable, helpful, and greet customers warmly. Employees are noted for being accommodating and providing great service, such as assisting with product selection, suggesting items, and offering expert advice on pet care, which has helped customers successfully care for reptiles and fish. The selection and variety of products are also praised, alongside a solid rewards program. However, other reviews point out significant shortcomings at some stores. Criticisms include a consistent lack of staff available to help, poor stock where shelves are often empty and desired items are not in stock, and high prices. Some customers report a bad return policy and note that management is not helpful. The aquarium sections in particular are sometimes criticized for being poorly maintained, with dead fish left in the tanks, which is described as unappealing. This indicates that the quality of the shopping experience can vary greatly depending on the specific PetSmart location.
Always have cheap treats by the checkout. Just like candy at the grocery store, can't help myself from getting something for my dog.

Friendly staff and it was an adoption day when I went. There were some great fur babies looking for homes

Had a great experience where everyone working today went above and beyond to assist me and provide support. It was a gentle reminder that there are still good people out there that care which is hard to come by these days. Thank you, Bianca and to the others at the register which I unfortunately did not get their names.
