“I had a horrible experience yesterday at the Boynton Beach location. It was incredibly frustrating, and I left feeling very dissatisfied with the service and overall experience.”
I went into the Boynton Beach Target location, and while I was there, one of the employees accidentally hit my car with a shopping cart. When I pointed it out, he casually responded, ‘Oh, that’s my fault.’”
He asked me if there was a scratch on my vehicle, and after getting out, I noticed there was indeed a scratch. I told him I would need his information because there was a visible mark left from the cart. He proceeded with his task and asked if I had a return. After processing my return, he stated, “If you want my information, you’ll have to come inside; I have things to do.” At this point, I was shocked and asked to speak with a manager.
I approached another Target employee and explained the situation, asking to see a manager. He reassured me that we would speak to one. After waiting for a few minutes, I went inside the store and was approached by the same employee who had hit my car. He asked, “Do you still want my information?” I replied that I just wanted to speak with his manager. He said okay and walked away.
While waiting in the customer service line, I decided to leave. However, as I turned to leave, I was stopped by the same Target employee who reassured me earlier that he would get a manager, along him another Target (which I later found out was a manager) attendant stood. The second employee told me that the person with him was the manager. I proceeded to speak with him and explained I have been waiting to speak with a manager. While I was talking, the manager rudely interrupted and said, “You have to do an incident report.” I was taken aback and asked, “Why are you being rude? I came here for a return, not this.” The manager responded, “well I’m just saying, I’m the manager, and you need to file an incident report.”
I decided to leave after speaking with the manager. I asked for his name, and he told me it was Angel. I also asked about the name of a Target employee, but the manager pretended not to know who I was referring to. He then asked me to give a description of the employee who had hit my car. I was confused because, while the manager seemed to know exactly who I was and what I was complaining about, he had no idea who the employee was that had caused the damage.” I informed the manager that I would address this matter differently due to the manager’s unpleasant attitude and the irresponsible, careless behavior of the target employee.”

This Target is the worst. It takes twice as long to check out than it does to shop. Their register game is the worst in town, by far. Always a pain making sure I keep it under 10 items so I don't have to spend half my day in line.

I no longer shop at Target as they’ve given into the demands of the current administration and removed their dei policy. I used to love this store. I hope they’ll become brave change their mind.

On the one hand, I shop here all the time, so I admit me criticizing this place and giving it three stars may seem hypocritical. Don't know, don't care.
There's plenty of good here. It's clean, they have everything you need, it's organized well. Just wanted to point out a couple issues. These MAY be an overall Target issue, or they may be limited to this location.
1. I think there's 12 lines, but never more than three are open when I go regardless of the hour. This is especially problematic in the afternoon when the lines stretch pretty far out, presenting a health risk especially for the elderly and the customers who drive on Rascals.
Now, I know self-checkout exists. It just seems strange that with how busy this location is, especially considering its proximity to Renaissance Commons, Via Lugano, etc., that there isn't more manpower.
I've also noticed that early in the morning, let's say between 7:45-8:45, it starts getting pretty busy ... and there's never more than one line with the light on in recent weeks. In the past if there were two lines open with their light on, cashiers used to conveniently go on break.
So this leads me to...
2. Self-checkout opens way, way too late. I want to say self-checkout opens around 10 a.m., because I've been there after 9 a.m. and it's closed.
I know there's always the threat of people stealing from self-checkout, and it helps to have someone watching. What I don't understand is why, with how busy this place gets, they don't open self-checkout much earlier. Why let the lines stretch so long because you only have one or two lines open when you KNOW it gets busy early.
These two problems aren't gonna stop me from shopping at this Target, not yet at least. But I'm sure at some point they'll make someone walk in, see the checkout problems, go back to their car, and just head to Publix or CVS instead.

Only can add 1 star. They have no self checkouts in the morning. Only 1 line open. Yet at least 2 dozen employees wandering around + talking to each other ans not helping. Ridiculous! We take it bc it's Target. This is at the 650 N Congress store in Boynton Beach

"Super target" has 12 registers and self checkout lanes. There is one register open and self checkout doesn't open till 11.

Target is always convenient & clean with good options but watch out for the CVS employee- wow. She’s aggressive. Thought she was going to jump over the counter & fight my boyfriend when he asked if she could ring up some health items he needed to help with his recent surgery.

How are your phones not working on 10am on a Monday morning? I’m trying to track down keys that were possibly lost at your store and no one can answer the phone? I’ve called and tried to connect to EVERY dept and no answer. Is not answering the phone how you avoid complaints from guests?
