“Last year when visiting we stopped in and shopped at Irene's. I made a purchase the most beautiful navy sunglasses they reminded me of our trips to the beach. Then forward to this past summer when they slipped if my head and instantly sank to the bottom of a lake. Last week when on our vacation I stopped back in at Irene's in hopes of finding something similar and told the sales associate how they were lost. She listened to me and didn't push for me to buy a in stock pair she heard "they were my all time favorite". I was stunned when she volunteered to call the Rep and see if it was possible to still get them. Last week I was happy to get a call from the store and learn that the Brand Rep had helped the store locate them. Today on a chilly day 34 degrees in the Midwest the mailman delivered them. I'd like to thank the people and especially the sales associate there for going the extra mile. Can't wait to be back to sunny Florida sporting them and shop Irene's.”

“I visited this store while visiting friends in the area and I was more than pleasantly surprised! The store itself was clean and well organized. The selection is extensive, the sizing is very inclusive going up to a 30 I believe. Very affordable and good quality clothes as well. The person working was wonderful, warm, and inviting but I forget their name. Definitely worth a visit! I wish I had a store like this back home”

“Ok!! For the past 2 summers, I've had the pleasure of vacationing in Bradenton. Anna Maria Island is gorgeous but one of my favorite stops was the Coquina Beach Market! I found jewelry from Beachy Boho that I love and get so many compliments on. This summer while vacationing in NYC, as a ran to the subway, I lost ONE earring that I bought last summer and didn't realize it until I was already on the train! I reached out to Elizabeth and she responded back so quickly and so sweet! Y'all, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE these earrings (and all her jewelry) and thankfully she had another pair and is sending them to me tomorrow!!!! Talk about making my summer break teacher heart HAPPY!! If you haven't shopped her website..... I recommend you shop her beautiful creations!”

“A classic Island shop, this store has been in the same location for more than 50 years! They must be doing business the right way to stick around this long. But don't let their longevity lead you into thinking they are stuck in old styles because they have lots of current trends. Instead of the poorly-made cheap shirts found in those tacky tourist traps, Mister Roberts carries quality apparel in styles you'll actually wear at home. They also have really luxurious beach towels, home decor, drinkware, and a few kitschy items. And, their quality items are priced are very reasonably- score! Be sure to stop here on your way to the beach!”

Everything is priced so well and the staff at both locations are extremely kind and welcoming. I'm here atleast four to five times a month due to it! “Went in to buy AMI GUY and AMI gal SPF 44+ swimshirts as this is the only location that they are sold (see photos). Found an amazing selection of home décor, men's and women's apparel, jewelry, as well as toys for kids. Beer and really nice wine is sold here as well. Lots of families come to this location for hair braiding and permanent jewelry. Everyone is super friendly and accommodating. Make sure this store is on your list of things to do when visiting Anna Maria Island!”

“Generally good, but some variation depending on who teaches your class. Instructors do not seem to be trained in alternative movements to prevent injuries. If you do barre regularly and are looking for a place to hop in a class during a vacation (as I do when I visit family in Bradenton), this should work but be sure to tell them you have experience.”

“Ross has a great variety of branded items at great prices. Bags, perfumes, shoes, men's and children's clothing. There are party dresses too. I bought my dress there for graduation. Nice place, well lit, large bathroom (but not always very clean).The staff are attentive. There is a discount promotion one day a week for those over 56 years old, if you qualify. Get informed. Always good discount. The luggage sector is also worth checking out”

They have Mens, Womens, and even kids items and two stores in the same building separated in the middle by a coffee shop and ice cream parlor. I think they could have been more customer friendly, but over all a lot of nice things to choose from.”

“There are MANY beach shops on Anna Maria Island but Sun and Surf stand out for their excellent customer service. This past week was my husband's birthday and his old AMI visor that he has had for 10 years was really looking ratty. So I called Sun and Surf and they texted a photo of what they had and it was the same brand. Not only did they mail it to me but they gift wrapped it for free. Other stores said things like: "I dunno know...you will have to come in ( I told them I was in Kentucky)" or, "We are too busy now, call back." and blah, blah, blah. Heather treated me as if I was standing right in front of her and nothing else mattered but getting my husband a quality visor. WTG, Sun and Surf!!!! See you in December.”
“I’ve been coming to the downtown Bradenton Pink and Navy since they opened and now half my wardrobe is from there. The staff, especially Ria, are simply the best. You walk in and they treat you like family. They’ve also got a wide selection of items for all ages so it’s not just a 20-something store. Can’t rave about it enough.”
