I have no complaints about Advanced Auto Parts and do enjoy getting a few things from there but you can honestly find a lot of these parts a bit cheaper thru other merchants or online sites. There is definitely a few things that is worth going there for though.

The service here is ok. The thing they need to workon is being a lil more personable when you checkout. Some of the employees are very ruff around the edges.

Nobody has any idea what anything is they can’t find any parts for my truck even with the computer for help I had to leave the store because they had no idea what they were doing this was on 9-6-23 at 6:23 pm whoever was working should be fired ! They give your company a terrible reputation !

Place is a joke. I place and online order, go to pick up and the cashier is at the counter on hos phone. He asks me what i need i say im here to pick up and order. He immediately says well its a 40 minute wait. I was confused since the store was empty. He claimed it takes "time" for the orders to go through. Mind you im an elite member and have spent thousands here so i know how quickly they get the orders. Not wanting to argue i asked him to cancel the order and i will just purchase it in store since its in stock. He then tells me i have to call and cancel the order. I said fine, didnt argue bought my peice i needed which took him 2 minutes to grab , so basically he could of completed my online order instead but wanted to be a difficult employee. I leave, call customer care and they tell me the STORE has to cancel the order NOT the customer. SMH. Will be the last time visitng this location.

The customer representative there was wonderful, his name was jerry. He actually helped me find out what I was looking for, instead of what I thought I was looking for, because I was looking for the wrong thing, and he actually pointed out what I was needing,and it was not what I was looking for. Cuz I was looking for a radiator, at least I thought i was looking for a radiator. I was not recognizing a condenser from a radiator. And I thought I was ordering the right thing because I kept saying get me a radiator, and other stores was giving me a radiator, and it was the wrong one. Because it turned out I actually needed the condenser, And I did not know it. So he was smart enough to figure that one out. Unlike another manager at AutoZone called Carl at 57th Street West ,that gave me a very hard time, he wouldn't even let me look in the box, and see if it was the right one or not, or even suggest that maybe I was looking for the wrong one after that point. So Jerry is a wonderful customer representative as far as I'm concerned, he can go a long ways. Always ask for him if you want something, he's very helpful.

Well it's the first and last time I go to advanced, I got a rebuilt starter took me over three hours to get it in and it's starts no issues. Then the next morning it's only spinning, to make a very long and aggravating story short I went to the advanced in palmetto to swap the faulty starter I got from them and the lady there said she couldn't exchange it bc it wasn't what was on my receipt so I asked her do y'all not test these rebuilt parts before selling them to people, NO so I lost 2 days of work and my wife had to take Uber twice because advanced doesn't think about the customer, I'd advise anyone who goes here to buy a part have it tested before you leave there, this whole fiasco cost us 425 dollars because they sell faulty parts
