OZK bank discriminates worst bank ever not recommended at all! I brought in my SSN, FL DL and my USCIS authorization card I work for the school board of my county and still they wouldn't allow my account because I am Mexican! They said something about having direct deposit and they would give $350 not even that and I had a direct deposit over $1100 they asked for and nothing.

Never have I ever been treated so disrespected and rude. I have had 3 accounts since 2018. Their clover rep and account was horrible, but i gave them the benefit of doubt since they are a separate entity. Due to their primitive lack of technology, I had to stop business banking with them. I kept my personal with them out of pure convenience/laziness. In 4 years, I have never been able to consistently access my account online. Today, when I tried and failed to access my online account, I called as usual but they couldn't verify my identity. They said I had to verify it in person after repeated lengthy holds and 30 minutes on the phone. I rush over to the closest branch and arrive at 402pm. There are customers inside and 3 employees. So, I call and explain that I don't need to make any transaction, just verify my identity for online banking. No one could be bothered to assist me. The drive thru employee (drive thru is open til 6pm) couldn't tell me whether she could assist me thru the drive thru. She had me continue to stand out front in the hot sun waiting for a banker that never came. I asked her if I could close my account thru the the drive thru window and she said yes. So, I drove around to close my account at the drive thru window after 4 yrs of working with them. The banker that was supposed to come to the door and never did, surprise he had to help close my account. I would normally never consider cursing out a bank employee. But the blatant disrespect and rudeness after standing out in the hot sun...I couldn't hold my tongue :(

I have been searching around for a business checking account for a while now. Thanks to Harvey Ruiz I now have a business checking account. He does not treat his clients like a rotating door he treats you like family. He is very courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. Thank you Harvey & staff for being the best!

John Lang at Bank of the Ozarks is fantastic. I have known him now for some time and not only is he friendly and knowledgeable, he quickly and efficiently resolves any issue that comes up, usually within a few minutes. Truly a personal banker. It is so much better calling John rather than a 1-800 number when having an issue with your bank account. Bank of the Ozarks website and ap do not lose out to the big banks either.
