Do not ever take your car there to get a new key, they did a horrible thing to a single mom who has been struggling for 2 years now. She had got the car back from an impound 9 months ago, she was going tonregisternitnin NC but had to move back to fla. We bought a new battery and it ran to get it back to her. Then something else went wrong and we had it towed to a few places while she tried tonfind a mechanic who woukd work on it, she has been in a terrible custody fight, and struggling so much she needed to find someone cheap enough. Well it was towed from Siesta to a mechanic in Bradenton, then they claimed they put in a starter bitnthayvdidnt work that it was a key issue. Then she found out they never did put in a starter after all, she contacted batteries plus and they said they could make a new key for her. Because of some state rule they said they had to find out who it is registered to well they contacted the Cruz towing who impounded it, and had itntowed back to Cruz. The owner of batteries plus even called me a liar. Also he said he woukd not let the tow company take the car because the company did say that they gave her a bill of sale and it was hers. Bit all Cruz cares about is aneasy$

This location ruined my 10 month old phone, which cost me $1,200 during a repair on the back of the phone. I had an iPhone 14 pro max. They honored their contract and bought me a refurbished version of what I had (not a phone worth $1,200 dollars) , refurbished version worth maybe $750. This is the part that gets me, they ruined my phone, and still charged me $300 for the repair. So I now have a refurbished phone, had to pay the damage repair (they took the repair that I paid for OFF my old phone that I paid for). So, I will have a cheaper, refurbished phone, can't do anything with my old phone (could have sold it, worked on wi-fi, but can't because they took the repair off the phone.) The customer loses here, not to mention the two weeks that I was without a phone and needed to buy a pay as you go phone. Customers here are not put first, their fiscal health is more important.
