After never getting a human being on the phone, I went in to have someone from Truist cosign a three figure check. After having to go to another branch and having to wait over an hour, I finally got it done.

I had a horrible experience at Truist today. I deposit a little less than $1 million per year in an account. I came in today with two withdrawal $2000 from this account. The teller informed me that my signature did not match. I’ve had the same signature for years and this was a subjective decision by her, I told her, and she had my drivers license, which had my signature on it that matched as well. Her coworker made the situation worse. When I told her the decision was a subjective one I do not think she understood what that meant and claimed it was the company that was making this decision. The teller stalled and eventually called me on my own telephone and made me answer it in front of her. I said that’s fine, but I’m in a hurry and she moved even slower. She was not interested in good customer experience and seemed to only want to make it more difficult for me to withdraw my own money even when she had my ID and had called my cell phone. She called the manager over to review the information and the seem to slow her down even more. I am not certain that all tellers here or Truist branches are bad. Since the change to Truist everything has gone downhill.They closed the branch I usually went to so travel a little farther than before.The service at the drive thru averages 15 to 20+ minutes even if it is only to deposit a check.The people working used to be friendly and helpful and now I get the impression they really hate their job.I am writing this review because I am sitting at the drive-thru window and have plenty of time to write it while I wait.

I bank with this Bank I don't know how long when it was BB&T SunTrust BB&T merger just it's been nothing but chaos all I was looking for was information on a safety deposit box I've had to go to three different branches to get this information being overwhelmed with other clients when I do finally get to talk to someone I have a rude and ignorant manager who did not want to take care of the problem or talk to me because he was having a bad day honestly I don't know what to do but I think I'm going to be closing my accounts and moving on to another financial institution

Branch closed due to PLANDEMIC. No access to safety deposit boxes except with apppointment. They hold your property hostage with bad bad service. VERY UNFORTUNATE.

I own a small business in Bradenton and for the last 14 years I have dealt with Fidelity bank that recently merged with another what a nightmare that was. Because of that we moved all of our accounts business and personal to BB&T/Truist. All of it went completely smooth we have NOT had one issue with anything from BB&T/Truist. BB&T/Truist through this pandemic has been wonderful and VERY helpful, we look forward to a LONG LONG relationship.
