Had to bring it in for some codes and diagnostics. Good thing. They actually were able to isolate the problem, and it was much bigger than we thought. Luckily, they started working on it right away and it only took another day to get all the parts and get it done. Considering the labor cost, I am amazed that they had the time because they were busy. But the problem was fixed, and the truck is running smooth. The engine light and code problems were fixed as well by the experienced GM himself. The service was good, the people are friendly, and I felt that they were concerned about doing the job right and getting me safe on the road. I feel confident to drive down south again and do what I do. The diagnostic part was not credited to the bill otherwise it looks like. Not my favorite part. But then again AAA discount was applied as posted on site. I definitely will go back. Next, I do my oil change there. I am an not saying they are perfect and I only drove the car 1 day now. But this was a good, professional experience.
Now when you look at the pricing rating. It is known that I am by far not a supporter of the high hourly rates. But compared to dealerships, you get a deal here and most important the Labor has a 3 year warranty, which should give you confidence in what was done.

My VW Tiguan broke down late Tuesday night - the result of a broken gear shift cable.
I am not a fan of bringing it to the dealer unless I have no other alternative….something VW owners will agree they try to make SURE you don’t….
On others’ recommendations, I had the car towed to Begley.
VW would have forced me to replace the entire mechanism….Jason at Begley did the research, sourced the one part needed, fixed the car and had it back to me in two days!
He also drove to the rental car agency and gave me a ride to my car.
I will never go anywhere else for service!

We returned to have work done on our European vehicle at Gulf Auto Clinic, but we were directed to a different location than before. Upon arrival, we discovered that Gulf Auto Clinic no longer operates at this location. Instead, we found a facility operating under the name Begley Auto Repair. It appears that these two businesses are now being run from the same location, yet it is unclear why Gulf Auto Clinic’s name is still being used, especially after learning that it permanently ceased operations in February 2025.

Have gone here several times over the years and have always been treated well. Recently my car lost its marbles at the end of the business day. I called and spoke with Terry, who walked me through several scenarios and in the end he graciously came out and determined my battery was dead, gave me a jump. I went on my way to the closest auto parts store for a new battery. Terry didnt have to do that but I am grateful he did. I know my car is on its last legs and am thankful it wasn't a bigger problem 🙂

From the very moment of me, calling and speaking to Terry, it has been the most pleasant relaxing experience for an autobody shop I have ever had. Terry was AWESOME and this place is lucky to have him representing them.Not only are these guys clearly experienced and experts in the car industry, but they are extremely courteous and polite and do outstanding work even to the point of allowing me to be picked up in one of their shuttles, to pick up my car. Not only do they fix the issues that I had but gave me a solid reasonable price.And I did compare with other places but they also explained to me some other minor issues that I had with my vehicle and explained to me what caused it and what time frame, that I should look at on fixing these issues. They did not try to up sell me, but rather educate me. It is clear that they care and take pride in their work. You would be foolish to go to any other place without checking this AutoShop out first. Thanks guys. I will be back in the future for more work done on my vehicle, lol.

Had an issue with our Ford F250 and they were able to help us out. They are very professional, prompt, had fantastic follow through and communication. We had to get our vehicle towed to their manatee location. Our car wouldn't start and we were unsure if it was battery, starter, etc. They were very communicative from the moment of receiving the vehicle until the end. We truly appreciate the high quality service, and thoroughness. We will be back for any future need.

WOW! What service I received! I have an older car that has had repetitive Fuel Injector issues, which happened again. I took the car to Begley and spoke with Kyle after securing an appointment with Terry Abbas. Kyle treated me in a very pleasant and thorough manner by covering down on the issue and setting expectations appropriately. Then he exceeded those expectations by checking the car, providing a suggested fix involving cleaning the injectors...all done at no charge. That was such a great experience and certainly not one encountered anymore. THANK YOU Kyle, Terry and Jason...you guys are simply awesome.

Wonderful experience.
Thanks to begley auto repair and a shout out to Eric for going above and beyond for my Nissan! He was punctual and efficient with the work he did. He was very kind, and attentive to my concerns, and now.. I finally have a good set of brakes and working a/c in my vehicle.. it had been two years since I felt that crisp air running through. Now not only am I comfortable driving but my kids are safe and comfortable as well. I will definitely be returning if I need any more assistance on my vehicle, thank you for providing exceptional customer service, and making sure my needs were met! First photo driving with cold a/c. Couldn’t be more grateful. If anyone is looking for a place that provides excellent service for a good price, this is the ONE!
