No customer service what so ever. The employee was smug and not helpful just stood behind the counter eating her snack. Really needs to be no stars

As is the norm these days I placed a reservation online and received an e-mail confirming my rental for a moving box truck at a price no other rental company could touch. The next day I couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone at the front desk to reconfirm the specs and price. So I hustled down to the store to be told sorry no can do and really wasn’t given any other options besides to call customer service. Now witht the being said Today was no ordinary day it was the first day that commerse and shops fully reopened after hurricane Ian. Only the week of Christmas can compare to how busy this Monday turned out to be. Anyone with a smidgen of empathy should’ve exuded patience this day because we all to often these days forget that person behind the counter is dealing with the same hardships you are in the aftermath of a storm like Ian. So to get to the point I needed a truck to move out of my flooded house the the reservation was not correct regarding inventory but after a few hours they pulled every string to go above and beyond to get me my moving truck today at a great price! It involved at least 6 or 7 employees get it done because of a glitch in the system. With how chaotic and busy it was in the office today they could have let it go but thanks Bradenton Budget rentals! Ps. its time we hold the overpaid underperforming back office IT staff accountable.

Omg I left wanting to scream. The place looked like a old gas station bathroom, and the girl was dismissive and rude while telling me they don't have our vehicle. I called the reservation center and they were just as unhelpful. They booked me at another location that also did not have my vehicle. I was told to call all locations directly, how ever every call whet to the same call center only to be rebooked at another location with out confirmation. While on the phone waiting for a manager I was blind transfer to yet another location. After three hours and probably 12 calls and two supervisors, I finally got a supervisor who said they would reimburse me for extra costs and renting from another company. Are used to Touro rent my jeep.I was confirmed and in my jeep in 20 minutes. I work for a rental car company for 12 years... What Avis has got going on here is BS, their customer service is outsource, communicating was extremely difficult, and nobody knew what the hell they were doing. Horrible download the Turo app and rent From a local!!!

We booked a Jeep Wrangler for our stay at the beach. We had a reservation and a confirmation number and when we arrived they told us they didn't have the vehicle but offered us a Kia Soul. The woman at the counter said this happened all of the time. When we called Avis, we got customer service from India and never a location local phone so there was no way to confirm if they actually had the vehicle. Don't waste your precious vacation time on this clown show and rent elsewhere!!

Picked up our rental yesterday to travel 1200 miles north just to get a flat tire because BUDGET did NOT inspect the truck and apparently the person before us put a patch on the passenger side tire and BUDGET did not change it before it was given to us. We purchased roadside assistance they were extremely rude and could not give us an ETA for over an hour not only that but their was 17 other trucks BROKEN DOWN in the same area as us!!! Called customer service and the man would not tell me his name and proceeded to tell me how I was in the wrong and then HUNG UP ON ME!!!!!!!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THEM.Edit to add the actual roadside guy who came to help was extremely nice and very helpful (he does not work for budget he works for a separate company)

Rented car in Tampa. They gave me a KIA that looked like someone tried to break into the trunk.Plus there were key scratches on the sides. I decided I did not want to drive the mickey mouse car for a month so I exchanged it in Ft Meyers Airport. what a hassle. so many customers waiting and only two employees. When I finally got the car it smelled of cigarette smoke. I didn't complain, I should have but I wanted to get going. also only1/2 tank of gas.

Had my reservation in for weeks, got a confirmation email stating my truck would be ready, arrive today and NO Truck!! Not the first time this has happened. Sorry to say, we'll use another company for our business solutions. Not happy!

We made a reservation online for a truck, they had 2 in their parking lot. Once we went in and talked to the lady she said they did not have a truck available. That the airport was picking one up and that the other one was reserved. Just like we had it reserved. Ridiculous.

Terrible experience. I reserved a truck a week in advance and when I got there the day I needed to move they said they have no trucks available and to call another company.

Great prices, nice staff and no extra fees what you pay is what you pay unless you need extra days but they always are very reasonable. I definitely recommend 100%.

Will cheat you out of your money. Charge outrageous prices to extend vehicles. Under new management. Terrible customer service steer clear of this place.
