We were searching for a bank to apply for a construction loan for our new house when a colleague recommended SouthState. I was connected with Damean Searle, and the experience from start to finish was exceptional. Having worked with many loan officers before, I can confidently say that Damean is by far the most competent, knowledgeable, and experienced professional in the industry. His customer service and communication is also among the best I have ever encountered.
Not only Damean, but everyone I’ve worked with at SouthState to secure our loan has been a pleasure to collaborate with. In a world where good customer service is increasingly rare, SouthState truly stands out. I am so grateful to have found them and will wholeheartedly recommend Damean and SouthState Bank to all my clients, family, and friends. A truly outstanding experience all around!

This was the most disappointing experience I’ve had at a bank here in Bradenton. They were prejudiced and its disgusting to see people who won’t do their job due to their own personal prejudices, I will be calling there corporate office and letting them know there employees who wouldn’t do their jobs.

Absolutely love this bank. They are always helpful and when my debit card number was compromised the had me a new one in 4 days even though they said it could take 10

My work uses this bank, and its the bank our payroll checks are drafted from. Went through the drive thru to cash my check, and not only did they serve 2 people in the lane next to me that pulled up after they had already received my transaction, they also managed to give one of them my drivers license. So they received my paycheck and license, and in the process of serving the next 2 people to pull up, managed to give one of them my license. How does this even happen?

This is a most excellent bank which I use for both my Business and Personal accounts. I have never had a problem with them and they have always been very helpful with the accounts I have set up.
