My wife tried Che Bella (Morgan) last month and Morgan did an OK job but was more expensive than other Aveda salons. Morgan then cut my hair and again, did an OK job.Our daughter, Amanda, then brought our granddaughter, Alivia, in for a cut before starting school. She described to Morgan how she wanted Alivia's hair to be cut straight across the back. Morgan totally disregarded the instructions and proceeded to layer the back. Upon seeing how Morgan was cutting Alivia's hair, she confronted Morgan about it. Morgan then told her that she would have to sit up front while she finished. The cut was not at all what was requested.Morgan provided the receptionist the bill and didn't apologize or acknowledge my daughter.Consequently, my daughter described the situation to the receptionist along with canceling a future appointment for my other granddaughter.Never heard anything from the salon. Absolutely the worst service ever received at an Aveda salon.They lost (5) customers!

Note- First posting 12/22/22. Then see the updated response to what the owner had to say below. - I have been a long term customer here but sadly they don't respect that. I plan well ahead and made my December appointment in September due to holiday plans and family visiting. They called me the day before my appointment and let me know that due to their front desk person not understanding timing of appointments, they need to change MY appointment!!! What? Whoever got scheduled after me needs to get their timing adjusted as my time was clearly open and available when I scheduled! They said they could try to get an earlier appointment that day which I said I would then take since I could not do anything later then what I had scheduled but in calling me the morning of my appointment, they merely just confirmed the later time! I've been a good customer for the last couple of years, great tipper, and never tried to bump anyone else's appointments. The lack of respect, disorganized front desk scheduling and/or training, obvious later time change, not offering a discount, or free product for this serious inconvenience of THEIR mistake forced me to cancel this appointment that again, I planned for three months ago! I'm thoroughly disgusted with this place now. There are other AVEDA salons to go to. BEWARE!UPDATE 12/29/22 to the response from the owner- How did you try to remedy the situation? You're only option for me was to have my appointment an hour later which did not fit into my plans, hence, why I scheduled it three months earlier at the needed time. You didn't do anything to try and make me happy? What are you referring to? You didn't offer a discount, free product, etc. just an inconvenient time. The fact that I have been going there for so long is especially why I would not expect to be treated this way. Your "apology" is even laced with sarcasm. Oh, and since you wanted to bring it up..."This appears to be the only time you have been unhappy with us (otherwise you would not have kept coming back)"; there have been other times that my appointment was changed on me and even an entire hairstylist! I was scheduled with one and whomever did the scheduling "accidently messed up" and therefore needed to put me with someone else. I could have done a negative review a few times but trying to give this place some benefit of the doubt, I didn't. This situation was the last straw and people need to know what is actually going on.Here is the entire original owner response in case they edit their comments: "Theresa,We never like to disappoint anyone. However, in your own words...you "have been a long time customer". This appears to be the only time you have been unhappy with us (otherwise you would not have kept coming back). We are sorry for the inconvenience, but tried to remedy the situation and still make you happy. We hope you are not ever treated so harshly when you make a mistake. This is the best salon I have ever used and I am in year 3 of my patronage. Everyone is committed to the brand and experience and I would suggest them to anyone. Jen, especially if you are a redhead and need color or like to change it up regularly, and Lindy if you want the best facial out there.

DO NOT recommend coming here. I have been to multiple Aveda salons and have always has good experiences until the other day. I asked for a full set of blonde highlights. My hair is orange and patchy. Also the girl put three rounds of toner in it so the bottom half of my hair is purple and fried. I will have to go spend another 300$ to get it color corrected. So disappointed…

New to the area and tried Che Bella for a partial foil. Kylie was terrific the color and cut are perfect and just as I requested. Back in 8 weeks!

They called and cancelled my daughter’s appt 25 min before her appt saying the appt before my daughters was running late due to a “scheduling error” even after they had called me 3 days before to confirm. We have been going to this salon for 5 years. The person on he phone was not willing to be flexible to try to get her in with the scheduled stylist any time soon stating they were “super booked” and was flat out cancelling our appt last minute. Really unprofessional!! Unless you can be ok with last minute, lack of sympathy cancellations this place is not for you!!

I made a new client appointment yesterday for a haircut this morning. I drove 40 minutes only to be informed that my stylist was not aware she had an appointment this morning and would not be in. Why didn’t someone call me and let me know this?! I was offered an appointment for later in the day with someone else but I could not do that, again it’s a 40 min drive! No apology was given and I was told other appointments are at the end of May. A phone call sure would have been nice.
