The Chop Shop, opened in 1971, is a gem in the neighborhood. Its meat department is first‑rate and the staff is friendly and helpful. The deli department offers BBQ pork, spare ribs, and pressed cuban sandwiches that are fabulous. Prices are comparable or cheaper than other stores, and the quality surpasses anything without going direct to the farm. Customers say the staff has a great history in the area and that they stand behind their stock. Excellent customer service is noted, with steaks that are nice and tender when grilled and sandwiches that are delicious. Tripled burgers are the best and meatloaf is fantastic. The shop feels like family for all.

First time here after moving to Parrish .First observation was how clean the shop was and fresh the meat looked. We bought some filets ,pork chops and stuffed potatoes. All were excellent! Steaks were totally trimmed so you get the amount you are paying for and no waste. We will definitely be back.
