The Chop Shop, opened in 1971, is a gem in the neighborhood. Its meat department is first‑rate and the staff is friendly and helpful. The deli department offers BBQ pork, spare ribs, and pressed cuban sandwiches that are fabulous. Prices are comparable or cheaper than other stores, and the quality surpasses anything without going direct to the farm. Customers say the staff has a great history in the area and that they stand behind their stock. Excellent customer service is noted, with steaks that are nice and tender when grilled and sandwiches that are delicious. Tripled burgers are the best and meatloaf is fantastic. The shop feels like family for all.
Got the yummy special today from the grill & smoker in the parking lot! Rib eye Sammie & half smoked chicken. Picture is half the sandwich, couldn't wait, it smelled so good.
