From Amy the Manager to the experts that assist you in the store and the friendly cashiers I always head to Cortez Hardware before the big box stores when a need arises. They give me the service and attention I never get at those retailers. Even when something fails through operator error they make sure that I leave the store satisfied.

Very nice store, nice employees, but come on. Took 2 lp tanks to fill, 20lb and 3 lb. Lesson learned on the 3 lb er. Minimum charge is 11 lbs that was never mentioned when paying. I asked if that was right and was then told about the 11 lb minimum. I might even understand when just filling the 3 pounder. Fool me once……..
