I was extremely satisfied with this visit, because using my $10.00 CVS carepass, a $2.00 CVS coupon and 20% off credit, I didn’t have to pay anything for my Dunkin Donut coffee, that was on sale, and my Clairol hair color. I was very happy leaving the store. It made my evening. I was grateful. Thank you, CVS.

Very disappointed with the customer service at the pharmacy. I was told my insurance did not approve my prescription and I wanted to understand why. I was repeatedly told I needed to speak to my insurance and/or my doctor to get something else prescribed. In the past, at other pharmacies, I've been told I need my doctor to approve a generic or prescribe a different format (pill instead of liquid for example), etc. They've gone as far as placing the call themselves or suggesting a coupon. My experience here was like pulling teeth. It felt like the person behind the counter was not listening to my questions because I kept getting the same response to each one and she was visibly becoming more irritated by what I assume she perceived to be my inability to accept or understand what she was telling me. At one point I could see and hear her huffing and puffing as she was looking up my history in the back. I ended up getting the information I needed so I can follow up with my doctor, but I will not be going back to this pharmacy. There's a Walgreens right across the street and two Publix pharmacies within a 1 mile radius. It's never okay to treat someone with disdain, let alone a paying customer.

I never write reviews, however, I feel it's important to write one. Every single time I have used this pharmacy, at the LWR location , I've experienced nothing but problems, unnecessary rudeness, and frustration... I received a text from this CVS (LWR)stating my prescription was filled and ready to be picked up. I was immediately disappointed because I had already requested for my Dr's office to send my prescription to another CVS location, due to the problems I've experienced in the past with this location... Since the text stated it was ready for pickup, I went ahead and drove to the location... When I arrived I was told that my prescription was NOT ready because it was an expensive prescription, so they didn't fill it.. I was confused because obviously I had received the text confirming that my prescription was filled and ready for pickup... I knew what the cost was and requested the prescription please be filled. I was then told that they would have to order it and Id have to wait until it came in... I asked if they could tell me an approximate time when I could expect it to be filled and I was told I would receive a text message letting me know that it was filled and ready for pickup.... Which is the exact reason why I was there in the first place I asked the Pharmacist(or tech )what I could do for this to not happen in the future. The Pharmacist(or tech )was extremely irritated by my question and would not provide any answer or suggestion.. I was not offered any sort of explanation or apology for their actions .. Every employee at this pharmacy that I have interacted with, I have spoken to them respectfully and with understanding... My expectation is to be treated and spoken to in the same manner... I have called my Dr office and requested to please delete the LWR CVS off of my chart for any further prescriptions...

Try ANY other pharmacy besides this one if you are in Bradenton/LWR area. Terribly rude pharmacist/pharmacy techs who make you feel like a complete degenerate when you ask questions about a NEW prescription with side effects and directions. Doctors don't always cover all the bases beforehand. Why have a "consult" counter if you refuse to answer questions politely?STAY AWAY!!!

Had a very poor experience here, I wouldn’t recommend. My son was sick and we had his RX transferred here as we didn’t realize Publix didn’t take out insurance, but CVS did. I was told it would take 48 hours for the transfer… after I told them this was for my sick toddler and that wouldn’t work, I was told they would see if they couldn’t get it done today. I was very explicit that the most important was the antibiotic and ear drops. Hours went by and no one called me, I had to call them to see if the scripts were ready. Then rush over there to get them before they closed. Never once was I notified that the antibiotic was not available. Upon arrival, which was about a half hours before closing, the young girl and the window was not friendly by any means. You could tell she didn’t want to be there. When I asked why no one called me to let me know the scripts wasn’t available I was told by her ‘I don’t know, but we don’t have it, so I don’t know what to tell you’. When I asked to speak to a manger she said I could speak with the pharmacist. She then took the phone away from her mouth to speak to the Pharmacist so I wouldn’t hear her, but I didn’t need to hear her because facial expressions tell all. I am a firm believer that you conduct yourself accordingly no matter if someone can hear you or not. The Pharmacist then came over to speak to me, acted puzzled as he could have sworn they had the antibiotic. He then goes to look and comes back to confirm the person who I spoke with when I called in must have been confused as there is another medication with a smilie name. It’s not reassuring to a parent or anyone for that matter to hear that people whom are filling their scripts can’t distinguish between one medication to another, this could be very dangerous. When I asked him why I didn’t receive a call, he stated ‘I don’t know why you didn’t receive a call, I know that’s like not cool’ ‘but I don’t know and we don’t have the antibiotic’ I couldn’t not believe that that is how a professional speaks? I was bewildered and at this point exhausted as this left me less than 30 minutes to find a place that had the meds for my son. Thank goodness for Publix right across the street, I raced over there and told them what went on at the other place, they promptly took care of it and made sure I had the RX in less than 10 minutes from transfers time to me cashing out so that I could get home to my son and made sure he got antibiotics in him that night. I will definitely never use this location again.

Your basic pharmacy that provides a good amount of different items that you might need last minute or if on the road. This CVS isn't open 24/7 which I can understand but that would be super wonderful if it was.I usually don't have much contact with the staff when shopping especially since I usually use the self check out which is very quick and convenient unless the machine wants to act funky. I really love all the coupons I get from cvs, I highly recommend their app so you know when the coupons expire, it can really help you save a small fortune. I normally come here to get our body lotions, body wash & other items. I used their pharmacy in the past, however they recently stopped taking my insurance. My family and I have used this location to get the PCR covid test via drive thru, pretty efficient, convenient and easy if you are able to get an appointment online or app. You might not find test appointments the day of, due to the high demand but the app. Lets you check other cvs locations. We have also been here to get our covid vaccines, pretty quick however I didn't think they had a good vaccine check in process, they have a sign that say's vaccine check in which is the same area where you drop off a prescription so can be a long line just to check in, sometimes they text you so you can check in but not always (I think that's much easier and better). The nurse who gave us our vaccines was really great, barely felt anything always super friendly and warm, it's really nice if you're not a needle person. OuchhThe restroom is decent, and the parking lot is manageable. This location is in a very busy area since it's right of 64 and near a few gas stations, publix and other establishments close by. I will be back as usual for a few items I enjoy getting from here!

I would give it zero stars. Takes forever to get through on phone. Drive-thru takes literally forever..plan on having a minimum of 30 minutes to wait. I am currently 2nd in line with my sick, screaming 2 year-old..been here 25 min. 7+ in line total. I already switched pharmacies. Just finishing up my refills here and never going here again! I will drive further and be home in half the time.

My baby is seven weeks old and I could not get a hold of the pharmacy. I called five times and could not get through. I was on hold for over 10 minutes each time waiting for someone to answer. I started calling front of store and asking for the manager who then said she would transfer me back to make sure someone answered the call. This happen three more times and no one answered the call each time I was on hold over eight minutes. I will be changing pharmacies and I will never use another CVS again. They do not care about their customers especially the tiny little ones! :(

Always spend at least 20 min waiting at the drive thru. Currently sitting on hold for 20 min. trying to get a prescription refilled, no one has even so much as answered the phone yet. They never have my refills ready on time (hence why I'm sitting on the phone waiting for someone to pick up). Look, I worked for CVS and in pharmacy many years ago, it's a thankless, sucky low paying job so I don't want to crap on the staff when it's likely the piss poor CVS corporate management not wanting to pay for more staff to properly run the pharmacy.Regardless of the cause, DO NOT use this pharmacy under any circumstances unless you want to be continuously frustrated and have copious amounts of time and gas to spend waiting each and every single time you need anything.

The pharmacy didn't put my refill on my prescription and when I called to let them know of their mistake the girl that answered the phone was rude and short and asked if that was all I wanted. Every time I get a script here it's always an issue. I will no longer be using this run down pharmacy.

Once again for the 5th time they claim they never got a script my dr sent for the same medication I pick up every month. Very rude. Ive called multiple times to ask for my script to be filled showed up an hour later it still was never filled when they told me 15 minutes, and this has happened MULTIPLE times. They even filled an old script months ago and gave me the wrong dose. We've been using them for about 2 months and will NEVER go back.

Once again ordered a refill on line and the store claims no knowledge of the order. At noon every customer at the pharmacy was angry or displeased with the "service" for various reasons. I will take my business and that of my wife elsewhere.
