I hadn’t been to AV Nails since last year, but I went back the first of August to get my nails done for my daughter’s wedding, and at first, it seemed to go well. A sweet older lady helped me, but she did not understand or speak English, so other techs kept stepping in to assist her. Things were fine during the pedicure but went downhill during the manicure. I asked for short tips with dip, and despite explaining and re-explaining and her talking to another tech (who seemed irritated) halfway through I realized she was only doing a dip manicure. I tried explaining, but after several attempts and being in a hurry, I gave up and went with it.
The worst part of the visit, however, was the atmosphere. The tech working next to her had a poor attitude toward both me and her own client—rolling her eyes, sighing, and even arguing when her client explained what she wanted. Eventually, her client gave up too and whispered to me that she wouldn’t be coming back. I felt the same.
I’ve been going to AV Nails since 2013, but after taking a break and then returning, I can see it’s not the same. At least for those two techs, professionalism and putting the client first no longer seem to be a priority.

I just did my nails and a change of polish on my toes here and it was fantastic, clean work, and very clean place. I love the delicate job my guy Tony did. I’ll be back for sure.

The most painful pedicure of my life. I said "ouch" more than a few times. It doesn't even look good. Waste of money. The chair wasn't even comfortable.
