I was at the Bradenton, Fl 1st St. location. Since my last time in the store, they added tall poles to the buggies to keep the customers from pushing the buggies out. I grabbed a buggy from the front of the store. I immediately seen a full cart of merchandise stashed to my right. I turned to go left and seen an employee unloading a full cart. I tried to go through the middle but the pole on the buggy caught the produce sign. I asked the employee unloading the cart to allow me to get around because it’s the only way with the pole on the buggy. This rude wrinkled up white employee immediately stated I can go around the other way. I just stared at her in disbelief. As I turned away, Miss wrinkled up continued to talk about the incident with a short black female employee who moved to allow me to get by. I then asked the rude wrinkled employee to move the cart blocking the other path. Because she’s so miserable, she just had to say all you have to do is ask. When I asked the other employee to move the cart for me to get by, wrinkled up chimed in and told me I could go the other way. If all I had to do is ask, why was it such a problem when I did ask? Maybe if she put her energy into unloading the full cart stashed all over the store, there wouldn’t be so many blocking the path. I will never go back to that store. It’s a market and you can’t take your groceries out to the car in a buggy, having to watch my overhead to prevent from knocking down a sign and to have to deal with old rude wrinkled up employees like the one I had to deal with. I was praying for strength to continue to ignore her ignorance and lack of customer service skills. I will never have to deal with it again.

Poor management, lack of training, unprofessional behavior from employees, However it's worth noting Dollar General has made efforts in improving the store, to address incompetence maybe #1 should improve employee training #2 enhance customer service #3 addressing management, ensure management is properly trained.

I am a handicapped person and every time I come to the Store on 3611 in DeSoto Junction shopping center, there are no grocery carts available for me! I can not carry my groceries to my car by hand. Please help me understand how this store thinks that it's accommodating me. I have been a loyal customer for years but now I have to find another store that can help me with my groceries, I hate it

This only gets 5 stars because of their produce manager Latonya Davis. Every time I go in this store she is working that department by herself. Tons and and tons of boxes unloading, picking up, helping customers, grabbing shopping carts, I even saw her cleaning the restrooms. Meanwhile I’m not sure what others around her were doing. I’ve seen many customers compliment her on how hard working she is. Whomever reads these reviews I hope they own this place. They better be paying her what she deserves because she is an above and beyond employee. Don’t lose that one.

Awful...I wish they had auto checkouts or truly teach managers and employees how to move people in and out of the checkouts...customer service has to be at the top of the list...people want to get in and get out...simple concept. I watched them do a till change with over ten people in line...four staff and one line open...I just struggle to understand that type of business model...

My boyfriend and I DoorDash, I’ve never been to this store before nor have I ever heard of Dollar General Market. Today I got an order in there. My boyfriend was helping me. He asked for shopping basket to complete the order. The store employee told him no because people steal the baskets too, so we walked back and forth with the customer items. Then it seemed like every employee stopped what they were doing to watch us shop like they have never seen black people shop before. The smaller stores treat you way better than this run down, full of racist disrespect employees market.

Management and employees do not know how to take care of customers. On the Dec 11th 2022 around 530 pm the manager on duty has no business operating a store without supervision, she is disrespectful to disabled elderly people.
