Amazing childcare facility. Clean and beautiful, plus classrooms are large with a lot of natural light and windows. The teachers and staff are fantastic, and the curriculum and food are excellent. Our 3 year old son has been attending since he was 1 and he is super happy at Doodlebugs, looking forward to going to school and seeing his friends and teachers every school day. We could not be happier with our experience with Doodle Bugs. When we were looking for a daycare I read a review for Doodle Bugs that said “one of the most important decisions we make as parents (who watches our kids when we cannot?)” and that couldn’t be more true. Doodle Bugs has surpassed all of our expectations and our expectations were set high as parents! Our 10 month old gets excited when we start walking towards the doors. All that matters to us is his happiness and Doodle Bugs has brought him more happiness than I could have ever imagined! They have surpassed all of our expectations and I feel relief when I bring my baby to them because I know that he is in the best hands. They do sensory projects with them, read books, play, have music day. They are very observant and in tune with how he is feeling. They also provide a report and photo each day which makes us feel like we didn’t miss a beat! We are so lucky and happy to have found Doodle Bugs! An enormous thank you to his teachers in Classroom one, Marissa, Xan, Hailey, and the Doodle Bug family for all that you do!

I absolutely love Doodlebugs, and so does my son. He's had fantastic teachers whom he adores and I have always felt he is completely safe, happy, and well taken care of while he is there. Miss Lizzie, Jaylin, Zoe, and Katelynn have all been so good to him and we love them! Hailey, Xan, and Marissa at the front desk are always helpful and kind.Plus, the extra things they do at the school are amazing. He discovered a love for Tae Kwon Do thanks to weekly classes, so much so, we plan to enroll him in classes. During the summer, they do swimming in the pool.He's grown so much from what he's learned here, and made a bunch of friends too. I'm very thankful for the wonderful staff and teachers!

Staff members know my son by name, I never have to go and find someone to be in his drop off room as I’ve had to do at other facilities. Rooms are kept clean and staff looks genuinely happy!

I don't usually send reviews, unless a purchase or service is either really GOOD or really BAD ...In this case it's really GOOD. I have five other children who were in daycare throughout the years. I have never felt better about leaving my baby with a child care facility. Glad we found Doodle Bugs !I hope by leaving this review it might help somebody feel good about the decision too try Doodle Bugs.

As a first time mom, it was so hard dropping off my little girl almost a year and half ago when she was only 4 months old. But Doodle Bugs has been the absolute best! The teachers are all so kind and caring. Every teacher knows my daughter’s name even the ones that aren’t normally in the toddler room! Her experience in the infant room and now the toddler room have been so wonderful. My daughter LOVES her teachers so much! The front desk staff and director are also so friendly and professional. They take the safety of the kiddos very seriously which I appreciate so much! Also very accessible and always willing to talk about any issues or concerns. Would recommend this daycare to anyone!

I wanted to share my appreciation for all the staff in classrooms 1 & 2. I am so very grateful that my baby girl has amazing role models and teachers to learn from. The affection, encouragement, and unending patience you provide her with is the exact reason this daycare is number 1 in my heart. Shout out to the front desk staff for always greeting us every morning with big smiles and a "have a great day!". Marissa does a phenomenal job running this daycare and we are blessed to be a part of the family ❤️

Outstanding facility for children to enjoy learning and interacting with youth the same age!. Ms.Haley and Xan are highly professional and willing to go the extra mile to assist parents with questions. Mrs.Marisa runs a phenomenal academy and is an excellent leader at DoodleBugs. Highly recommend this academy. Btw...Ms.Lizzy & Ms.Jaylin rocks !!!! Much love

We have been going to Doodle Bugs since September of 2018 and have more than 1 child in facility. We have been pleased with DB and some of the teachers are fantastic! Too many to name but our current ones Lizzie and Jaylin are amazing and great with my children. It is nice having cameras in the facility not all in the area offer that. Overall I’ve been very pleased and appreciate all the teachers do to help develop our children.

STAY AWAY from Doodle Bugs preschool in Lakewood Ranch.They disregarded my child’s allergies, they LOST him inside the facility due to poor supervision and blamed me for it, and call me a minimum of once a week to leave work and pick him up due to “behavioral issues” that do not make ANY sense.They have accused my son of uncontrollable behavior, stating everything he does is unprompted or unprovoked, though we don’t see the same problems at home or on the cameras. He tells me every day about a certain child who is bullying him. On his good days, he tells me that the bully child wasn’t there that day. They also tell me that my son is the ONLY PROBLEM in his class. The director, Marissa, is extremely condescending, rude, and unreachable.This daycare prioritizes new students and does not properly support the students and staff they currently have. They are misleading with their promises and standards of care (severely understaffed and should not be accepting more students) and do not follow parents wishes or directions for their kids.Don’t get me wrong. I know my toddler isn’t a perfect angel. But I still know my toddler. And today, I had to advocate for him in a painful way that I wish I never had to. Unfortunately, we had to unenroll and he is heartbroken because he really loved his teachers and friends, however I cannot depend on Doodle Bugs to do what they say they will do and my son deserves better than that.If you can afford their absurd weekly tuition of $319 a week, frequently leaving work to pickup for minimal normal toddler behavioral problems, or their FOUR WEEK TERMINATION PENALTY, by all means, check it out. But for folks like me who weren’t born into money and work very hard to afford what I thought would be the best childcare for my son, you may similarly end up deeply disappointed and angry.

I have only positive things to say about this daycare. All my son's teachers gave been great. Love the fact they have cameras and I can check in throughout the day. My son has been going for almost a year and we haven't had any issues. They teach them so much!

I have had my daughter at Doodlebugs for over a year now, and all I can say is great things! No matter what classroom she has been in, she has loved every single teacher. She asks to go back to school so I know that she loves it too. The food menu is great and she gets a great variety of healthy food. Their communication is fantastic and I would highly recommend it.

Our daughter has been at this daycare for about 3 years and has progressed very well throughout the different age appropriate classrooms. They feed the children well and the classrooms are very clean. They plan lots of activities throughout the day and have several playgrounds for them to run around. One downside is there is no bathroom outside for the children, so accidents happen a lot outside when the teachers have to keep the ratio of teachers to children.

We joined the Doodlebugs community after having a somewhat difficult adjustment period with our three-year-old as a result of our recent move from out of state. She has truly improved in every sense of the word since starting here, and often talks about how much she loves her “funny” classmates and “silly” teachers. The environment as soon as you enter the facility is extremely warm, calm, fun and organized. We are so grateful for having found this center and highly recommend it to anyone searching for a loving and educational environment for their child.

We’ve been at DoodleBugs for a little over 2 years and we have nothing but great things to say about them! Our oldest is now in Pre-K and he is learning so much every day. Miss Jana and Miss Karina are excellent, very communicative about how he’s doing and he adores them. We love that the teachers share photos throughout the day and do a daily summary at pickup. The classroom cameras are a huge plus too, especially if your child is new to daycare - being able to peek in on them and see that they’re doing OK is so nice!
